The University of Roehampton (formerly Roehampton University) is a campus university in the United Kingdom, situated on three major sites in Roehampton, south-west London.
Municipal Borough of Barnes
Barnes was a local government district in north west Surrey from 1894 to 1965. It was formed as an urban district in 1894 and became a municipal borough in 1932. It contained the settlements of Barnes, Mortlake and East Sheen. It was part of the London postal district and Metropolitan Police District. The district was bounded by the County of London to the east, the River Thames and Middlesex to the north, and the Municipal Borough of Richmond to the west and south.

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the governing body of world tennis, made up of 210 national tennis associations or corresponding organizations of independent countries or territories. Wimbledon Common
Wimbledon Common is a large open space in Wimbledon south-west London, totalling 460 hectares . There are three named areas: Wimbledon Common, Putney Heath, and Putney Lower Common which together are managed under the name Wimbledon and Putney Commons. Putney Lower Common is separated from the rest of the Common by about 1.5 miles of built-up area of southwest Putney.

Putney Lower Common
Putney Lower Common is a part of Wimbledon and Putney Commons, lying about 1.5 miles north of the rest, between the Lower Richmond Road and the River Thames. Putney was probably settled during the Roman occupation. Lower Richmond Road was probably a Roman Road, and the Lower Common was probably an open pasture and farmland. Land was apparently lost in the 19th century when Elm Lodge was built. This was rebuilt in 1912 as Putney Hospital.

Putney is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2005 by frontbencher Justine Greening of the Conservative Party. The Putney constituency is usually among the earliest to return a result on many general election nights.
Putney Vale
Putney Vale is a small community at the foot of Roehampton Vale, just off the A3. It is part of the Roehampton Ward of the London Borough of Wandsworth. The area is bordered by: Roehampton Putney Putney Heath Kingston Richmond Park Wimbledon Common Geographically, Putney Vale is effectively surrounded by Richmond Park and Putney Heath and Wimbledon Common, with the A3 separating the two.
Wimbledon Windmill
Wimbledon Windmill is a Grade II* listed windmill situated on Wimbledon Common in the London Borough of Merton, in the west of South London, and is preserved as a museum.
Barnes Railway Bridge
Barnes Railway Bridge crosses the River Thames in London in a northwest to southeast direction at Barnes. It carries the South West Trains Hounslow Loop Line, and lies between Barnes Bridge and Chiswick stations. It can also be crossed on foot, and is one of only three bridges in London to combine pedestrian and rail use; the others being the Fulham Railway Bridge and Hungerford Bridge.
National Tennis Centre (United Kingdom)
The United Kingdom's National Tennis Centre at Roehampton in south west London is the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA)'s high performance training facility. It was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 29 March 2007. The centre has 16 outdoor courts, covering all the Grand Slam surfaces, 6 indoor courts, a gymnasium and sports science and medical facilities. It also houses the administration of the LTA, which was previously based at the Queen's Club in West Kensington.
White Lodge, Richmond Park
White Lodge is a Georgian house situated in Richmond Park, on the south-western outskirts of London. Formerly a royal residence, it now houses the Royal Ballet Lower School, instructing students aged 11–16. The White Lodge Museum and Ballet Resource Centre has also been opened there as part of a major redevelopment project led by the ballet school.
Queen Mary's Hospital
Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton is a hospital in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1915 to provide care for wounded soldiers, it became a world renowned limb fitting and amputee rehabilitation centre. Recently rebuilt and modernised it has become a unit of the Wandsworth Primary Care Trust. It now provides general community services in addition to the special services for which it is famous. It is also the hospital that British actor James Beck was rushed to and died three weeks later.
Barnes rail crash
The Barnes rail crash occurred at Barnes railway station late in the evening of 2 December 1955 in which 13 people were killed and 41 injured.
Digby Stuart College
Digby Stuart College is one of the four constituent colleges of the University of Roehampton. The college was established in 1874 as a women's teacher training college by the Roman Catholic Society of the Sacred Heart, an order of French religious women who settled at Roehampton in 1850, having first arrived in England in 1846. The college was named in honour of Mother Janet Stuart and Mother Mabel Digby.
Elliott School (London)
Elliott School was a school in Putney, England, founded in 1904, and which evolved into the ARK Putney Academy in 2012.
The Bull's Head
The Bull's Head, Barnes, often referred to as "The Bull", is a London jazz club that was one of the first and most important jazz venues in Britain. Moving from the postwar era into the 1960s, under the management of Albert Tolley, and together with the Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, it became the main venue for major UK-based and visiting jazz musicians, offering both lunchtime and evening performances.
Putney Vale Cemetery
Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium in southwest London is located in Putney Vale, surrounded by Putney Heath and Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. It is located within 47 acres of parkland. The cemetery was opened in 1891 and the crematorium in 1938. The cemetery was originally laid out on land which had belonged to Newlands Farm, which was established in the medieval period.
All Saints' Church, Putney Common
All Saints Church, Putney is an Anglican church in London, located on Putney Common. All Saints is one of the two churches in the Parish of Putney, the other being St. Mary's Church, Putney. The parish is within the Wandsworth Deanery, the Kingston Episcopal Area and the Diocese of Southwark. The church was built between 1873 and 1874 on land donated by Earl Spencer, the foundation stone laid by HRH Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein on April 25, 1874.
Alton Estate
The Alton Estate is a large council estate situated in Roehampton, southwest London. Alton Estate, one of the largest council estates (public housing) in the UK, occupies an extensive area of land west of Roehampton village and runs between the Roehampton Lane through-road and Richmond Park Golf Courses, as can be seen on the map to the right.
St Ann's Ground
St Ann's Ground was a cricket ground at Barnes, Surrey (now in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames). In 1889 the Lyric Club played the Marylebone Cricket Club in a non first-class match. The only first-class match held at the ground came in 1890 when the Lyric Club played the touring Australians, which the Lyric Club won by 96 runs. The final important match at the ground came in 1892 and between the Lyric Club the Marylebone Cricket Club.
Bank of England Ground
Bank of England Ground is a cricket ground in Roehampton, London. The ground is owned by the Bank of England. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1949, when South Women Second XI played the Women's Cricket Association. In 1967, the ground hosted its only first-class match in 1967, when Oxford University played the touring South African Universities team.

As an ARK academy it espouses the ARK vision of creating outstanding schools for local children that deliver high achievement for all their students.
