Diagonal is the name of an important station in TMB-operated Barcelona Metro network. It is named after Avinguda Diagonal, where the station is located together with Passeig de Gràcia.

Gaixample
The Gaixample is the nickname of a central area in Barcelona's Eixample district where, since the end of the 20th century, lots of gay shops, bars, discos and restaurants have appeared. Meanwhile, the gay population has risen enormously, because lots of members of the LGTB collective have settled in this area of the Catalan capital. This has made it an important attraction for gay tourism, mainly at night-time.
Illa de la Discòrdia
The Illa de la Discòrdia (English: Block of Discord, Spanish: Manzana de la Discordia), is a block on Passeig de Gràcia in the Eixample District of Barcelona, Spain. The block is noted for having buildings by four of Barcelona's most important Modernista architects, Lluís Domènech i Montaner, Antoni Gaudí, Josep Puig i Cadafalch and Enric Sagnier, in close proximity. As the four architects' styles were very different, the buildings clash with each other and the neighboring buildings.

The Galeria Mayoral, dominated by Manel Mayoral, was launched in Barcelona in 1989 and specializes in avant-garde history. The gallery also caters to Modern and Contemporary art, showcasing Catalan, Spanish and international artists. It's on the intersection of Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, Carrer d'Aribau and Ronda de Sant Antoni, to the west of Plaça de Catalunya, to which it's linked through Ronda de la Universitat and Carrer de Pelai.
