Palau de la Música Catalana
The Palau de la Música Catalana (English: Palace of Catalan Music) is a concert hall in Barcelona. Designed in the Catalan modernista style by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, it was built between 1905 and 1908 for the Orfeó Català, a choral society founded in 1891 that was a leading force in the Catalan cultural movement that came to be known as the Renaixença (Catalan Rebirth). It was inaugurated February 9, 1908.

Casa Calvet
Casa Calvet is a building, designed by Antoni Gaudí for a textile manufacturer which served as both a commercial property (in the basement and on the ground floor) and a residence. It is located at Carrer de Casp 48, Eixample district of Barcelona. Gaudí scholars agree that this building is the most conventional of his works, partly because it had to be squeezed in between older structures and partly because it was sited in one of the most elegant sections of Barcelona.

Arc de Triomf
The Arc de Triomf (is a triumphal arch in Barcelona, Catalonia. It was built for the Exposición Universal de Barcelona, as its main access gate by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas. The arch is built in reddish brickwork in the Neo-Mudéjar style. The front frieze contains the stone sculpture Barcelona rep les nacions by Josep Reynés. The opposite frieze contains a stone carving entitled Recompense, a work from Josep Llimona's the earliest period.

L'Auditori is a modern building of 42,000 square metres designed by the architect Rafael Moneo, opened on 22 March 1999, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is in the centre of the new pole of urban development of Plaça de les Glòries, which brings together the three widest and longest avenues in the city near the old centre of the city, its ‘Avenue’, next to the National Theatre, Glòries junction, the opening of the Diagonal on to the sea, district 22 and the Forum area.

Museu de la Xocolata is a private museum in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, owned by the Gremi de Pastisseria de Barcelona (the city pastry-makers' guild). The museum opened in 2000, at Carrer Comerç 36, in El Born, Ciutat Vella, on the ground level of an old barracks. Many of the displays are chocolate sculptures, including various well-known Barcelona buildings, and illustrations from various stories.
Plaça Urquinaona, Barcelona
Plaça Urquinaona is one of the most important squares in central Barcelona. It's officially part of Dreta de l'Eixample, in the Eixample district, located on the crossing between Ronda Sant Pere and Carrer d'Ausiàs March. It's crossed by a few major streets, such as Carrer de Pau Claris, Via Laietana or Carrer Roger de Llúria. Its urbanised surface amounts to 18050 square meters, and has a green central area.

Tetuan is the name of a station in the Barcelona metro network, located in central Barcelona, in the Eixample district. It's served by L2. It was opened in 1995, along several other stations in the line. It's located under Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and Plaça de Tetuan, and can be accessed from the entrances located on Carrer de Casp-Passeig de Sant Joan and Carrer de la Diputació-Passeig de Sant Joan.
Urquinaona (Barcelona Metro)
Urquinaona is the name of a station in the Barcelona Metro network, served by TMB lines L1 and L4. One of the metro stations in the city centre, and one of the busiest, it's located underneath Ronda de Sant Pere and Via Laietana, next to Plaça Urquinaona - after which it's named - in Eixample. It can be accessed from Plaça Urquinaona and Via Laietana.
Marina (Barcelona Metro)
Marina is the name of a station in the Barcelona metro network, served by TMB line L1. It's named after Carrer de la Marina, in the edge of two districts: Eixample and Sant Martí. It was opened in 1933. Its platforms, located opposite each other as opposed to most other metro stations in Barcelona which are in different parts of the station, were built underneath the former Estació del Nord train station (which nowadays is a bus station), next to Marina bridge.
Monumental (Barcelona Metro)
Monumental is the name of a station in the Barcelona Metro network. It takes its name from the former bullring of the same name located in Eixample Dret, the northern part of the central Barcelona district of Eixample. It's served by L2 (purple line), and opened in 1995, along with the other stations of the first section of the line to be built. It's situated under Carrer de la Marina between Consell de Cent and Diputació, and can be accessed from both sidewalks of Marina.

Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC) (English: National Theatre of Catalonia) is a public theatre in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain created by the Culture Department of the Catalan Government. The building of the theatre took place from 8 November 1991 to 1996 by the Catalan postmodern architect Ricardo Bofill. On November 12, 1996 it opened with Àngels a Amèrica by Tony Kushner, and directed by Josep Maria Flotats.
Arc de Triomf station
Arc de Triomf is an important station for Rodalies de Catalunya and it is connected with Barcelona Metro network. It is situated in Barcelona's Eixample district, named after the adjacent triumphal arch of the same name and located under Avinguda de Vilanova, near Estació del Nord, Barcelona's main bus station with national and international services around Europe.
Girona (Barcelona Metro)
Girona is a Barcelona Metro station located in Carrer de Girona, underneath Carrer del Consell de Cent between Carrer del Bruc and Carrer de Bailèn, in Dreta de l'Eixample, part of the Eixample district of Barcelona. It is served by L4 (yellow line). The station was inaugurated in 1973 along with the other stations from Urquinaona to Joanic.

Col·legi Casp–Sagrat Cor de Jesús (in English "Casp College-Sacred Heart of Jesus") is a Jesuit school in Barcelona, Spain, founded in 1881. Its Catalan name refers to both the school's location on Casp Street (Carrer de Casp) and the attached church, the Església del Sagrat Cor de Jesús. Both the school and church are run by the "Casp Jesuits" (Jesuïtes de Casp).
Plaça de Tetuan, Barcelona
Plaça de Tetuan is a major square in Barcelona. It is in Fort Pienc, in the central district of Eixample, at the busy intersection of Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and Passeig de Sant Joan. The square is named after the siege and occupation of the Moroccan city of Tetuan by general Joan Prim and Catalan volunteers. It was formerly called Hermenegildo Giner de los Ríos.

La Monumental
The Plaza Monumental de Barcelona, often known simply as La Monumental, is a bullring in the city of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was the last bullfighting arena in commercial operation in Catalonia. It was inaugurated in 1914 under the name Plaza de El Sport and was immediately expanded and renamed in 1916 with its current name. It is situated at the confluence of the Gran Via and Carrer Marina (Marina Street) in the Eixample district.

The 2012 Catalan independence demonstration was a protest march which occurred in central Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain, on 11 September 2012 during the National Day of Catalonia. The protestors demanded the independence of Catalonia and its consolidation as a sovereign state under the slogan "Catalonia, new state in Europe" (Catalan: "Catalunya, nou estat d'Europa").
