Archaeology Museum of Catalonia
The Archaeology Museum of Catalonia (abbreviated as MAC) was created under the Museums of Catalonia Act in 1990 by the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia. The head office is located in the former Palace of Graphic Arts, which was built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition.
El Raval
El Raval is a neighbourhood in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Spain. The area, especially the part closest to the port, was also informally known as Barri Xino, meaning "Chinatown". El Raval is one of the two historical neighborhoods that border La Rambla, the other being the Barri Gòtic, and contains some 50,000 people.
Teatre Lliure
The Teatre Lliure is a theatre in Barcelona considered one of the most prestigious in Catalonia. It was created in 1976 in the neighborhood of Gràcia by a group of professionals from Barcelona's independent theater scene. It became distinguished for its practice of presenting theater in Catalan, its revisiting of classics, and its penchant for contemporary theater. Funicular de Montjuïc
The Funicular de Montjuïc, or Montjuïc funicular, is a funicular railway in the city of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. The line is largely in tunnel and connects the Barcelona Metro Paral·lel station with the hill of Montjuïc and the various sporting and other facilities there. The funicular uses the same fares as the metro and is listed on maps as part of the metro network. It is operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), which also operates most of the metro lines.

Paral·lel is the name of a Barcelona metro station, currently the southern terminus of L2 and also served by L3. The two lines are side by side to facilitate transfer, with a direct connection between Zona Universitària (L3) and Pep Ventura (L2) platforms.
Urgell (Barcelona Metro)
Urgell is a station the Barcelona Metro network, named after Carrer del Comte d'Urgell, in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It's located under the part of the street of the same name where it joins Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. It's one of the oldest metro stations in the city, as it's part of the first section of L1 (then Ferrocarril Metropolità Transversal) to be built. The station can be accessed from either Comte d'Urgell or Carrer de Villarroel.
Rocafort (Barcelona Metro)
Rocafort is the name of a station in the Barcelona Metro network, served by L1 (red line). It's located under the crossing of Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and Carrer de Rocafort, in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It can be accessed from both sidewalks of the aforementioned crossing, and the two sidewalks of Carrer de Calàbria with Gran Via. It was built in 1926 as part of the original section of Ferrocarril Metropolità Transversal, nowadays line 1. The platforms are 88 m long.
Sant Antoni (Barcelona Metro)
Sant Antoni is a station on line 2 of the Barcelona Metro, opened in 1995. It is located in the Sants-Montjuïc district, under the Ronda de Sant Antoni. The central-platform station has a ticket hall at either end, and a total of three entrances: two to the south, on c/ Sant Antoni Abat and c/Comte d'Urgell, and one to the north, at c/ Villaroel. The station is wheelchair-accessible.
Palau dels Esports de Barcelona
The Palau dels Esports de Barcelona (Barcelona Sports Palace) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is on Lleida Street on the slopes of Montjuïc, a hill to the south east of the city centre. The arena is able to host competitions of any indoor sport. In 2000 it was adapted to better accommodate such shows and given a new name: Barcelona Teatre Musical - Palau dels Esports.
Teatre Grec
Teatre Grec is a theatre in the Montjuïc Mountain in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was built in 1929 by the Catalan architect Ramon Reventós as the ancient Greece theatres as part of the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition. The main use of this theatre is in summer festivals such as the Festival Grec de Barcelona.

The National Library of Catalonia is a Spanish national library located in Barcelona. The mission of the Library of Catalonia is to collect, preserve, and spread Catalonian bibliographic production and that related to the Catalonian linguistic area, to look after its conservation, and to spread its bibliographic heritage while maintaining the status of a center for research and consultation. It occupies 8,820 m² and has about three million items.
Poble Sec (Barcelona Metro)
Poble Sec is a station of the Barcelona Metro network located in the neighbourhood of the same name, in the district of Sants-Montjuïc, Barcelona. It's served by L3 (green line). It opened in 1975 under the name Parlamento along the other stations of the section Paral·lel-Sants Estació, then known as "IIIB". The station adopted its current name in 1982.
Avinguda del Paral·lel
Avinguda del Paral·lel (English: Avenue of the Parallel) is one of the main streets of the city of Barcelona, dividing Ciutat Vella, Eixample and Sants-Montjuïc districts. It receives this name because it is (unlike any other street in Barcelona) parallel to the Equator.

Battle of Montjuïc (1705)
The Battle of Montjuïc took place between 13 to 17 September 1705 during the War of the Spanish Succession. A multinational force under the command of Lord Peterborough had landed on the Catalan coast in August, intending to capture Barcelona. However, the force first had to take possession of Montjuïc Castle which was commanded by Francisco de Velasco. Late on the night of the 13th, a force under the command of George Darmstadt approached the castle in three separate columns.
Battle of Montjuïc (1641)
Battle of Montjuïc took place on 26 January 1641 during the Catalan Revolt. A Spanish force under Pedro Fajardo launched an attack on a Catalan rebel force, made up mainly of Miquelet militias led by Francesc de Tamarit, and their French allies. The Catalan rebels had taken up position on the heights of Montjuïc which dominated the city of Barcelona. The Spanish launched several concerted attempts to capture Montjuïc Castle, but were continually repulsed.

Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc
The Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc (English: Montjuïc Municipal Pool) is a sports venue situated in the Olympic Ring in Barcelona. The venue consists of two swimming pools: a pool for diving and a 25m outdoor pool. It hosted the diving events and the water polo preliminaries for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The location of the venue on a slope of the Montjuïc hill gives a panoramic view of the city of Barcelona. The swimming pools are open to the public during the summer.
