District line
The District line is a London Underground service that crosses Greater London from east to west. From Upminster, the eastern terminus, the line runs through Central London to Earl's Court before dividing into three western branches that go to Ealing Broadway, Wimbledon and Richmond. A branch also runs northward from Earl's Court to Edgware Road via Paddington.
Western Avenue, London
Western Avenue, some 10 miles (16 km) in length, is one of the major roads leading out of London, England. It is part of the A40, leaving the city in a north-westerly direction. The A40 is named as Western Avenue from its junction with Old Oak Common Lane in East Acton; the junction now has traffic lights, but its name Savoy Circus commemorates the roundabout which once formed the junction. East of this point is Westway, part of the A40 Central London link from Paddington.

Municipal Borough of Acton
Acton was a local government district in Middlesex, England from 1865 to 1965. In 1865 the Local Government Act 1858 was adopted by the parish of Acton, and a twelve-member local board of health was formed to govern the area. The Local Government Act 1894 constituted the area an urban district, and an urban district council of fifteen councillors replaced the local board. The number of councillors was increased to sixteen in 1906.

Churchfield Road

Ealing Common Depot
Ealing Common Depot is a London Underground railway depot on the District Line, located between Acton Town and Ealing Common stations. It is accessed by road on Granville Gardens, off the Uxbridge Road in Ealing Common. From the main-line (District) it is accessed at Ealing Common by a junction immediately to the East of the platforms. Trains can enter or leave the depot to/from either the Westbound or Eastbound tracks at Ealing Common.
Gunnersbury Triangle
The Gunnersbury Triangle is a Local Nature Reserve in the London boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow, immediately to the east of Gunnersbury. An area mainly of woodland, it supports a varied population of plants, birds, amphibians, insects and other wildlife. It is managed by the London Wildlife Trust. It has free admission and its entrance is on the south of Bollo Lane, a few yards from Chiswick Park Tube Station.
