Ideal Home Show
The Ideal Home Show (formerly called the Ideal Home Exhibition) is an annual event in London held at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre. The show was devised by the Daily Mail newspaper in 1908 and continued to be run by the Daily Mail up until 2009. It was then sold to events and publishing company Media 10, who will continue to run a scaled-down and shorter version of the show at Earls Court until the exhibition centre is demolished.
Metropolitan Borough of Fulham
The Metropolitan Borough of Fulham was a Metropolitan borough in the County of London between 1900 and 1965, when it was merged with the Metropolitan Borough of Hammersmith to form the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It was a riverside borough, and included the areas of Fulham, West Kensington, Walham Green, Parsons Green and Sands End. The SW6 postal district approximately follows the old Fulham parish.
Empress State Building
The Empress State Building is a skyscraper on the West Brompton/Earl's Court border in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It was built in 1961 and was 100 metres tall with 28 floors, designed by Stone, Toms & Partners. It was renovated in 2003 to a design by Wilkinson Eyre Architects. Three floors and 17.3 metres were added to its height. 'Orbit' is the name given to the private revolving bar on the top floor which offers panoramic views of London.

The stadium is located within the Moore Park Estate also known as Walham Green and is often referred to as simply The Bridge. The capacity is 41,837, making it the eighth largest ground in the Premier League.
Parsons Green (park)
Parsons Green is a park in the Parsons Green area of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is triangular, and on the northernmost corner is a tube station of the same name. It annually holds a 'Fair on the Green' to raise money and have fun. The Green hosted Fulham F.C. 's home games during the 19th century. Lady Margaret School is situated on its eastern side.
Earls Court Exhibition Centre
Earls Court Exhibition Centre is an exhibition centre, conference and event venue in London, United Kingdom. It is located within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is the largest such venue in central London. It is served by two London Underground stations, Earl's Court and West Brompton, opposite its entrances on Warwick Road and Old Brompton Road. Earls Court and the nearby Olympia are operated by EC&O Venues.

Lillie Bridge Grounds
The Lillie Bridge Grounds was a sports ground in London near to present day Stamford Bridge, opened around 1867. The ground started to fall into disuse after the opening of Stamford Bridge, and after a riot on 18 September 1887 which destroyed the track and grandstand, it finally closed in 1888. Lillie Bridge is these days better known as a London Underground (LUL) maintenance depot, and the Earls Court 2 annex of the Earls Court Exhibition Centre complex was built over the railway lines.

Fulham Road is a street in London, England, that runs from the A219 road in right in the centre of Fulham, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, through Chelsea to Brompton Road Knightsbridge and the A4 in Brompton, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Fulham Road runs parallel to the Kings Road, going west from the area called Brompton Cross.
Effie Bancroft
Marie Effie Wilton, Lady Bancroft (1839–1921) was an English actress and theatre manager. She appeared onstage as Marie Wilton until after her marriage in December 1867 to Squire Bancroft, when she usually appeared under the name Lady Bancroft. Bancroft and her husband were important in the developmant of Victorian era theatre through their presentation of innovative plays at the London theatres that they managed, first the Prince of Wales's Theatre and later the Haymarket Theatre.
The White Horse (Fulham public house)
The White Horse is a pub in Parsons Green, Fulham, London, known colloquially by many as "The Sloaney Pony", a reference to the "Sloane Rangers" who frequent it. It is a popular and busy pub which is featured in many good guides. The White Horse is an historic pub. A coaching inn has existed on the present site since at least 1688. The pub was first mentioned in the Spectator in August 1712 in relation to the popular annual Parson's Green Fair at which ale tapping was an eagerly awaited event.
