William Brown Library and Museum
The William Brown Library and Museum is a Grade II* listed building situated on the historic William Brown Street in Liverpool, England. The building currently houses part of the World Museum Liverpool and Liverpool Central Library. The William Brown Library and Museum building was conceived as a replacement for the Derby Museum which then shared two rooms on the city's Duke Street with a library.

College of Technology and Museum Extension
The College of Technology and Museum Extension Byrom Street, Liverpool, England was built between 1896 and 1901, the architect was Edward William Mountford. The building was constructed to provide a new College of Technology and an extension to the museum. The college occupied the lower levels and the museum the upper levels. The lower levels were taken over by Liverpool Polytechnic and its successor Liverpool John Moores University.

Central is a Liverpool City Council Ward in the Liverpool Riverside Parliamentary constituency. It was formed for the 2004 municipal elections from the former Abercromby, Everton and Smithdown wards. Picton Reading Room and Hornby Library
The Picton Reading Room and Hornby Library are two grade II* listed buildings on William Brown Street, Liverpool, England which now form part of the Liverpool Central Library. Chairman of the William Brown Library and Museum Sir James Picton laid the foundation stone of the Picton Reading Room in 1875. It was designed by Cornelius Sherlock, and modelled after the British Museum Reading Room, and was the first electrically lit library in the UK. It was completed in 1879.
William Brown Street
William Brown Street in Liverpool, England is a road that is remarkable for its concentration of public buildings. It is sometimes referred to as the "Cultural Quarter" Originally known as Shaw's Brow, a coaching road east from the city, it is named after William Brown, a local MP and philanthropist, who in 1860 donated land in the area for the building of a library and museum. This area gives its name as the William Brown Street conservation area.

The O2 Academy Liverpool (formerly the Carling Academy Liverpool) is a music venue in Hotham Street, Liverpool, England that is run by the Academy Music Group. The main building consists of performance areas. O2 Academy1 can hold 1,200 (900 floor/300 balcony) people while O2 Academy2 can hold 500. There are also 5 bars in the building which cater for the visitors who come to see shows (2 in O2 Academy2 and 3 in O2Academy1.
New Shakespeare Theatre, Liverpool
The New Shakespeare Theatre, Liverpool, was a theatre in that British city's Fraser Street. The theatre opened in 1888 under the proprietorship of Mr Ellis Brammall jun. It was built by J H Havelock-Sutton (who went on to build the Park Palace Music Hall in 1893 and the Metropole Theatre in Bootle in 1911). Among the distinguished names associated with the theatre was Sam Wanamaker, who was appointed director of the New Shakespeare Theatre in 1957 and served in that role until 1959.
Concourse House
Concourse House was a 1960's high-rise tower block in the city of Liverpool, England, designed by architect Richard Seifert. The tower was used as a backdrop to the performance art piece La Princesse. The building was built in the 1960s but was demolished in 2009, together with the shops in front of Lime Street Railway Station as part of the Lime Street Gateway development scheme.
