RAF Sealand
Royal Air Force Station Sealand or more simply RAF Sealand was a Royal Air Force station in Flintshire, north Wales and operated between 1916 and 2006. Under defence cuts announced in 2004 RAF Sealand was completely closed in April 2006. All remaining RAF units were moved to RAF Leeming. Part of the original airfield is now operated as the civilian MoD Sealand.
A5117 road
The A5117 is a road in Cheshire, England. It runs between Shotwick and Helsby and connects the A550 at Woodbank to the M56. As such it forms a northerly bypass to Chester and a shorter route between the North West and North Wales than the A55. The road is dualled west of the M56. There is roundabout with the A540 and at Dunkirk at the western terminus of the M56. East of the junction the road is single carriageway and crosses the A41 by way of a roundabout at Backford Cross.

St Michael's Church, Shotwick is in the village of Shotwick, Cheshire, England. It is designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building. It has a Norman doorway but most of the church dates from the medieval period. Its furniture includes some ancient items. In the churchyard are a number of structures which are listed as Grade II. The church is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Wirral South.

Located near the village of Shotwick, it is four miles north west of Chester and close to the Welsh border. The area is the location of the remnants of Shotwick Castle, built about 1093 by Hugh Lupus, 1st Earl of Chester.

It has since been divided into two houses. The older part of the house is constructed in red sandstone; the later part is partly timber-framed and partly pebbledashed. It is roofed with stone slates. The house is in two storeys plus attics, with an entrance front of six bays.
