Abbey Road Studios is a recording studio located at 3 Abbey Road, St John's Wood, City of Westminster, London, England. It was established in November 1931 by the Gramophone Company, a predecessor of British music company EMI, its present owner. Abbey Road Studios is most notable as being the venue in the 1960s for innovative recording techniques adopted by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Hollies, Badfinger and others.

Abbey Christian School
The Abbey Christian School was a school set up to teach English as a foreign language to prospective Christian missionaries. It was based in the extensive premises of Abbey Road Baptist Church in London, England and ran for forty years, from 1962 to 2002. The school was set up by Pastor LR Barnard of Abbey Road Baptist Church. From small beginnings it grew until it was taking in 60 to 70 students each term from countries all around the world. It closed on 14 June 2002.

On October 30, 2009, BBC Radio 1 celebrated 75 Years of Maida Vale by exclusively playing 75 tracks recorded at the studios over the years.

Kilburn Priory
Kilburn Priory was a small monastic community of nuns established around 1130–1134 three miles north-east of the medieval City of London, where Watling Street met the stream now known as the Westbourne, but variously known as Cuneburna, Keneburna, Keeleburne, Coldburne, or Caleburn, meaning either the royal or cow's stream. The priory gave its name to the area now known as Kilburn, and the local streets Priory Road, Kilburn Priory and Abbey Road.
