Oxford Street
Oxford Street is a major road in the City of Westminster in the West End of London, United Kingdom. It is Europe's busiest shopping street, and as of 2011 had approximately 300 shops. The street was formerly part of the London-Oxford road which began at Newgate, City of London, and was known as the Oxford Road. Today it forms part of the A40 trunk road, although like many roads in central London which are no longer through routes it is not signposted with the road number.
Marble Arch
Marble Arch is a white Carrara marble (with some marble pieces extracted near Seravezza) monument that now stands on a large traffic island at the junction of Oxford Street, Park Lane, and Edgware Road, almost directly opposite Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park in the City of Westminster, London. Until 1851 it stood in front of Buckingham Palace.
64 Baker Street
64 Baker Street, London was the address of the headquarters of the Special Operations Executive. The organisation moved to Baker Street in September 1940. A plaque on the building's face gives details of its former inhabitants.

Grosvenor House
Grosvenor House was one of the largest private townhouses situated on Park Lane in London. The house was the home of the Grosvenor family (better known as the Dukes of Westminster) for more than a century. Their original London dwelling was on Millbank but, after the family had developed their Mayfair estates, they moved to Park Lane to build a house worthy of their wealth, status and influence in the 19th century.

Grosvenor Square /ˈɡroʊvnər/ is a large garden square in the exclusive Mayfair district of London, England. It is the centrepiece of the Mayfair property of the Duke of Westminster, and takes its name from their surname, "Grosvenor".
Grosvenor House Hotel
Grosvenor House is a hotel in the Mayfair area of London. The hotel is owned by the Sahara Group. and the name has also been licensed to a property in Dubai. The modern Grosvenor House was built in the 1920s and opened in 1929 on the site of Grosvenor House, the former London residence of the Dukes of Westminster, whose family name is Grosvenor. The hotel owed its existence to Albert Octavius Edwards who conceived and built it, then presided over it as chairman for 10 years.
Le Gavroche
Le Gavroche is a restaurant at 43 Upper Brook Street in Mayfair. It was opened in 1967 by Michel and Albert Roux although the original premises were at 61 Lower Sloane Street until 1981. The restaurant offers classical French food, although some dishes come with something of a modern twist. Notable dishes are Soufflé Suissesse (cheese soufflé baked on double cream); Le Caneton Gavroche (whole poached duck in a light consommé served with three sauces for two); and Omelette Rothschild.

Manchester Square

The street runs for about 600 yards parallel and to the north of Oxford Street between Portman Square to the west and Cavendish Square to the east. The well-known Wigmore Hall concert hall is located on north side of Wigmore Street, just to the east of the junction with Welbeck Street.

Animals in War Memorial
The Animals in War Memorial is located on Park Lane at its junction with Upper Brook Street, on the eastern edge of Hyde Park in London, England, and was designed by leading English sculptor, David Backhouse. Unveiled on 24 November 2004 by the Princess Royal, it stands as a memorial to the countless animals that have served and died under British military command throughout history.
Duke Street, Marylebone
Duke Street is a street crossing the western half of Oxford Street, London and connecting Wigmore Street and Grosvenor Square. It is best known as the setting for the TV series The Duchess of Duke Street and as (from September 1880) the headquarters of the Artists' Rifles.
West London College
West London College (WLC) is an independent college of further and higher education, located in the Mayfair district of Central London and has a student body of 1,500 full time students. The College is an Associate Campus of Heriot-Watt University and specializes in the tuition of degree programmes. It is part of the British Study Centres Group of Colleges which includes British Study Centres School of English, and Hove College.

Home House
Home House is a Georgian town house at 20 Portman Square, London. James Wyatt was appointed to design it by Elizabeth, Countess of Home in 1776, but by 1777 he had been dismissed and replaced by Robert Adam. Elizabeth left the completed house on her death in 1784 to her nephew William Gale, who in turn left it to one of his aunts, Mrs Walsh, in 1785. Its later occupants included the Marquis de la Luzerne during his time as French ambassador to the Court of St.
Portman Square
Portman Square is a square in London, part of the Portman Estate. It is located at the western end of Wigmore Street, which connects it to Cavendish Square to its east. It was built between 1674 and 1684 on land belonging to Henry William Portman. It included residences of Alexander Hamilton, 10th Duke of Hamilton, Sir Brook Bridges, 3rd Baronet, Henry Pelham-Clinton, 4th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, George Keppel, 6th Earl of Albemarle, Sir Charles Asgill, 1st Baronet and William Henry Percy.
Montagu House, Portman Square
Montagu House at 22 Portman Square was a historic London house. Occupying a site at the northwest corner of the square, in the angle between Gloucester Place and Upper Berkeley Street, it was built for Mrs Elizabeth Montagu, a wealthy widow and patroness of the arts, to the design of the neoclassicist architect James Stuart. Construction began in 1777 and the house was completed in 1781, whereupon it became Mrs Montagu's London residence until her death on 25 August 1800.

The Grade II*-listed Edwardian Gothic Revival building was designed by Sir Walter Tapper. Worship at the Annunciation is in the Anglo-Catholic style and is supported by a tradition of choral singing. The church is closely linked to a local primary school, Hampden Gurney School.

Still the headquarters of Selfridge & Co. department stores, with 540,000 square feet of selling space, the store is the second largest retail premises in the UK, half as big as the biggest department store in Europe, Harrods. The store was named the world's best department store in 2010, and again in 2012.
