Lewisham, Deptford is a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 1987 by Joan Ruddock of the Labour Party.
A20 road (England)
The A20 is a major road in south-east England, carrying traffic from London to Dover in Kent. Parts of the route date back to turnpikes established in the early part of the 18th century. The line of the road throughout Kent runs closely in parallel with the M20 motorway.
Peckham Library
Peckham Library is a library and community building situated in Peckham in south-east London. It was designed by Alsop and Störmer and won the Stirling Prize for Architecture in 2000. It is a striking building best imagined as an inverted capital letter 'L', with the upper part supported by thin steel pillars set at apparently random angles. Various 'pods' house meeting rooms, children's areas and the library's Afro-Caribbean section. The exterior is clad with pre-patinated copper.
Metropolitan Borough of Deptford
The Metropolitan Borough of Deptford was a Metropolitan borough in the County of London between 1900 and 1965, when it became part of the London Borough of Lewisham along with the Metropolitan Borough of Lewisham. Deptford Town Hall was built between 1903 and 1905 on New Cross Road. The building is in a grand baroque style, featuring carvings of tritons and admirals to emphasise Deptford's maritime heritage. It is now used by Goldsmiths College.
Honor Oak Christian Fellowship Centre
The Honor Oak Christian Fellowship & Conference Centre, generally known as the Christian Fellowship Centre or Honor Oak, was a Christian conference and training facility located on Honor Oak Road in south-east London. The centre was the ministry base for its founder, the British evangelist and writer, T. Austin-Sparks, who had previously been the minister of the Honor Oak Baptist Church from 1921 to 1926.
Nunhead Cemetery
Nunhead Cemetery is one of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries in London, England. It is perhaps the least famous and celebrated of them. The cemetery is located in the Nunhead area of southern London and was originally known as All Saints' Cemetery. Nunhead Cemetery was consecrated in 1840 and opened by the London Necropolis Company. It is a Local Nature Reserve.

The Den
The Den (previously called The New Den) is a football stadium and the home of Millwall Football Club. It is situated in South Bermondsey, South East London, almost directly adjacent to the railway line between London Bridge and New Cross Gate, and the SELCHP incinerator. It is under a quarter of a mile away from the original Den.
Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College
Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College is a secondary school with academy status located in New Cross. The school was formerly a Grammar school, then a comprehensive City Technology College and now an Academy operating between two sites near New Cross Gate in South-East London.
The Den (defunct stadium)
The Den was the fifth football stadium occupied by Millwall F.C. in Cold Blow Lane, New Cross, London since their formation in Millwall on the Isle of Dogs in 1885 before moving to The New Den, in May 1993. The ground opened in 1910 and was the home of Millwall for 83 years. It boasted a record attendance of 48,672 (v Derby County in 1937).
Hatcham
Hatcham was a manor and later chapelry in what is now London, England. It corresponds to the area around New Cross Gate station in the London Borough of Lewisham. The civil parish of St Paul Deptford was partly in the counties of Surrey and Kent, with Hatcham forming the part in Surrey. It also gave its name to the ecclesiastical parishes of All Saints, Hatcham Park and St James, Hatcham which extended into the Kent section of the parish. In the Domesday Book it is recorded as Hacheham.
St. Thomas the Apostle College
St. Thomas the Apostle College is a Roman Catholic secondary school for boys in Nunhead, London. It was founded in September 1965. Its students on average achieve 65% 5 A*-C Grades at GCSE (54% including Maths and English), which is above both the LEA and National Averages, however as of September 2011, the School has suffered it worst results in the past two years in two decades.
Livesey Museum for Children
The Livesey Museum for Children was in the Old Kent Road, within the London Borough of Southwark, London, England. The Livesey Museum was one of very few children's museums in the United Kingdom, which used to show a completely new hands-on exhibition every year. Each exhibition was suitable for all children under 12, and admission was free. It was hosted in a former public library on Old Kent Road in Southwark and was funded by Southwark Council.

Peckham Rye is an open space and road in the London Borough of Southwark in London, England. The roughly triangular open space, managed by Southwark Council, consists of two congruent areas, with Peckham Rye Common to the north and Peckham Rye Park to the south. The road Peckham Rye forms the western and eastern perimeter of the open space. Peckham Rye is also Cockney rhyming slang for tie.
South Bermondsey
South Bermondsey is an area of southeast London, England. It is a largely industrial area and has been the home of Millwall Football Club since 1993 when the club moved to its new stadium The Den in Zampa Road. The area is served by South Bermondsey railway station, with a possible future station at Surrey Canal Road. Nearby neighbourhoods include New Cross, Bermondsey, Peckham and Rotherhithe.
Homestall Farm
Homestall Farm consisted of a farm house, barn, and substantial land surrounding it, and was located on the site of what is now Peckham Rye park in southeast London, England. The farm was acquired by the London County Council in 1894 for the sum of £51,000. The buildings were removed in 1908.
New Cross Stadium
New Cross Stadium, Hornshay Street, Old Kent Road, in South East London was opened in the early 1900s as an athletic stadium but was mainly used for greyhound racing and speedway. The ground was adjacent to The Den, the then home of Millwall F.C. and was used as a training ground by the club when they did not have facilities of their own. The track was often referred to as 'The Frying Pan'. It was built inside the greyhound track and had banking all the way round.
Brockley and Ladywell Cemeteries
Brockley and Ladywell Cemeteries were opened within one month of each other in 1858 and are sited on adjacent plots of previously open land. The two component parts are characteristic examples of the first wave of Victorian public cemeteries and are now part of the Brockley Conservation Area. The cemeteries occupy 37 acres of land wholly within the London Borough of Lewisham and are owned and managed by the Cemeteries and Crematorium Services of the Borough.
Old Kent Road railway station
Old Kent Road railway station was a station in South London. It opened on 13 July 1866 on a viaduct and bridge crossing the road at a junction with a line to London Bridge and what became Surrey Quays tube station on the East London Line and Queen's Road Peckham railway station on the Inner South London Line. It was later renamed "Old Kent Road and Hatcham". It was operated by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. It closed on 1 January 1917.
Brockley Lane railway station
Brockley Lane railway station was a railway station in Brockley, London which was opened in 1872 on the Greenwich Park branch which was owned by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway. It was shut to passenger traffic in 1917 along with the rest of the Greenwich Park line, but remained in use as a goods station until its eventual closure in 1970.
River Peck
River Peck is a small stream in London that was enclosed in 1823. Today, parts of this stream can still be seen on the west side of Peckham Rye Park. In South Bermondsey it joins with the Earl's Sluice and then empties into the Thames at Deptford Wharf.
Crossways Sixth Form
Crossways Sixth Form was a sixth form centre located in the Telegraph Hill area of London Borough of Lewisham, in South London, England. The centre was operated by the Crossways Consortium, a federation of four secondary schools in the Lewisham Borough, consisting of Addey and Stanhope School, Catford Business and Enterprise College, Crofton Park School and Deptford Green School. Courses offered by Crossways Sixth Form included A Levels and BTEC awards.
