The River Ravensbourne is a tributary of the River Thames in South London, England. It flows into the River Thames on the Tideway at Deptford, where its tidal reach is known as Deptford Creek.
South Dock, Rotherhithe
South Dock is one of two surviving docks in the former Surrey Commercial Docks in Rotherhithe, London. It was built in 1807–1811 just south of the larger Greenland Dock, to which it is connected by a channel now known as Greenland Cut; it also has a lock giving access to the River Thames. Originally named the East Country Dock, it was renamed in 1850 when the Surrey Commercial Dock Company purchased and enlarged it. Timber and grain were the main produce imported and exported in the dock.

The Trust was created by volunteers, who started to collect photographs of local life in 1981. World Trade Centre (London)
Built in 1991, The World Trade Centre was an 89 m, 19 storey building in the Canary Wharf area of London, UK. The building was heavily damaged by an IRA bomb on February 9, 1996. The top four floors were demolished and after a proposal called World Trade Centre London to redevelop it as offices was cancelled following September 11, 2001, the frame was reclad and it became the Hilton Canary Wharf.

Convoys Wharf

It was first developed in 1513 by Henry VIII to build vessels for the Royal Navy. Convoys Wharf also covers most of the site of Sayes Court manor house and gardens, home of diarist John Evelyn.
Mudchute
Mudchute is a locality just south of Canary Wharf on the Isle of Dogs in Docklands, London, England. The name of the area is in testament to the engineering overspill when Millwall Dock was being constructed in the 1860s. Spoil from the excavation of the Dock, and silt from its channels and waterways were dumped on nearby land, using a conveyor system.
Millwall Docks railway station
Milwall Docks railway station was a railway station located in Millwall, Isle of Dogs, London. It was located between South Dock and North Greenwich on the Millwall Extension Railway (MER) branch of the London and Blackwall Railway. It opened on December 18, 1871 and was situated on the corner of Glengall Road (now Pepper Street) and East Ferry Road, serving the Millwall Docks (which were later merged into a single dock, rendering the name slightly anachronistic).

1996 Docklands bombing
The Docklands bombing (also known as the Canary Wharf bombing or South Quay bombing) occurred on 9 February 1996. It was conducted by the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) and brought an end to their seventeen-month ceasefire. The bomb detonated in a financial district, killing two people and causing an estimated £100 million worth of damage.

St. Paul's, Deptford
St Paul's, Deptford is one of London's finest Baroque parish churches. 22 Marsh Wall
22 Marsh Wall, also known as The Landmark, is a pair of residential skyscrapers in Docklands, London, and is among the twenty tallest structures in the city. Designed by architects Squire and Partners in conjunction with Hoare Lea (M&E Consulting Engineers), the taller tower is 140 m (459 ft) with 44 storeys, making it one of Europe's tallest residential buildings, and its shorter neighbour is 98 m (322 ft) with 30 storeys.

Evelyn is an electoral ward in the northern most part of the London Borough of Lewisham. It is located in the Deptford area on the south bank of the River Thames, and is the only Lewisham ward that borders the Thames. Occupying the northern corner of the London Borough of Lewisham, the Evelyn ward borders only one other Lewisham ward, which is New Cross to the south.

Sayes Court
Located in Deptford, in the London Borough of Lewisham and on the Thames Path, Sayes Court once attracted throngs to visit its celebrated garden created by the seventeenth century diarist John Evelyn. Now completely buried beneath Convoy's Wharf and the run down and vandalised Sayes Court Park, the area shows little sign of its former glory, despite having been a key factor in the creation of the National Trust.

Deptford Wharf
