Jussieu (Paris Métro)
Jussieu is a station on lines 7 and 10 of the Paris Métro in the eastern part of the Latin Quarter in the 5th arrondissement. The station was opened on 26 April 1931 with the extension of line 7 from Pont de Sully to Place Monge and its incorporation of part of Line 10 from Place Monge to Porte de Choisy. At the same time the remaining section of line 10 was extended from the new station of Cardinal Lemoine to Jussieu.
Place Monge (Paris Métro)
Place Monge is a station of the Paris Métro, opened on 15 February 1930 as part of a planned section of line Line 7, which was temporarily operated as part of Line 10 until the completion of the under-Seine crossing of line 7 from Pont de Sully to Place Monge. The station was integrated into line 7 on 26 April 1931. It is named after the street of Place Monge, named after Gaspard Monge (1746–1818), a French mathematician and inventor of descriptive geometry.
Cardinal Lemoine (Paris Métro)
Cardinal Lemoine is a station on line 10 of the Paris Metro in the 5th arrondissement. The station was opened on 26 April 1931 with the transfer of the section of line 10 between Maubert-Mutualité and Place Monge to line 7. Line 10 was deviated from its old route east of Maubert-Mutualité to the new station of Jussieu. Cardinal Lemoine was built at the southeastern end of the old route under the Rue Monge.

The Île Saint-Louis is one of two natural islands in the Seine river, in Paris, France (the other natural island is Île de la Cité; the Île aux Cygnes is artificial). The island is named after King Louis IX of France (Saint Louis). The island is connected to the rest of Paris by bridges to both banks of the river and by the Pont Saint-Louis to the Île de la Cité. This island was formerly used for the grazing of market cattle and stocking wood.

Berthillon is a French manufacturer and retailer of luxury ice cream and sorbet, with its primary store on the Île Saint-Louis in Paris, France. The company is owned and operated by the Chauvin family, descendants of the eponymous Monsieur Berthillon, who opened the first store in 1954. Berthillon sells its ice cream in bulk and by the scoop from its shop on the island, but many other retailers in Paris sell its ice cream in cones and cups, and some grocers sell larger amounts.

Mémorial des Martyrs de la Déportation
The Mémorial des Martyrs de la Déportation is a memorial to the 200,000 people deported from Vichy France to the Nazi concentration camps during the Second World War. It is in Paris, France on the site of a former morgue, underground behind Notre Dame on Île de la Cité. It was designed by French modernist architect, writer, teacher, and town planner Georges-Henri Pingusson and opened in 1962. Pingusson intended that its long and narrow subterranean space convey a feeling of claustrophobia.

Bolesław Biegas
Bolesław Biegas (1877–1954) was a Polish surrealist artist (painter and sculptor), best known for his "vampire-as-femme fatale" style of painting. Biegas was born in Koziczyn, Poland, and studied art under Konstanty Laszczka at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Biegas created a small museum for his art in Paris, France, called the Musée Boleslas Biegas. Paradis Latin
The Paradis Latin is a theater at number 28, rue du Cardinal Lemoine, in the Latin Quarter of Paris. The closest métro stations are Cardinal Lemoine and Jussieu. It was first built in 1803 and was initially called Théâtre Latin. It burned down but was rebuilt in 1887-1889 by Gustave Eiffel. It was closed around 1900, but was partially reconstructed and reopened in 1970. It is now a cabaret and goes by the name it received in January 1889, Paradis Latin.

The Adam Mickiewicz Museum is a small museum dedicated to Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz (1798–1855).
