Shepperton railway station
Shepperton railway station is a passenger station serving the town of Shepperton in the Spelthorne district of Surrey, England. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains. The station itself now has one platform (remains of the other platform on the "up" side can still be seen), and a large station and office building. The ticket office is in operation infrequently.
Thames Water Ring Main
The Thames Water Ring Main (TWRM) (formerly known as the London Water Ring Main/LWRM) is a major part of London's water supply infrastructure that consists of an approximately 80 km system of mostly 2.54 m concrete pipelines used to transfer potable water from water treatment works (WTWs) in the Thames and River Lee catchments to distribution within London. The initial ring was constructed by Thames Water between 1988 and 1993. As of 2006, two extensions are under construction.

Shepperton Lock
Shepperton Lock is a lock on the River Thames, in England adjoining the northern bank near Shepperton, Surrey. It is across the river from Weybridge, but not directly accessible from there. In 1813, the City of London Corporation built the pound lock on a cut along an existing watercourse to create Lock Island. There are two weirs, one between Lock Island and Hamhaugh Island and the other larger one between Hamhaugh Island and the southern bank.

Desborough Island is a large artificially-created island in the River Thames on the reach above Sunbury Lock in Surrey, England. The island was formed in 1930s by the digging of a channel - the Desborough Cut - by the Thames Conservancy. Both island and cut are named after Lord Desborough who was at that time chairman of Thames Conservancy.

Shepperton to Weybridge Ferry
The Shepperton to Weybridge Ferry is a pedestrian and cycle ferry service across the River Thames in the English county of Surrey. The ferry runs from Ferry Lane, in Shepperton, to a point a short walk from Thames Street, in Weybridge. It is situated just below Shepperton Lock on the reach above Sunbury Lock. The ferry provides a crossing for the Thames Path, as well as for local trips. The ferry operates from 0800 on weekdays, 0900 on Saturdays, and 1000 on Sundays.

There is a stretch of open ground where refreshments are served, making the island a popular place to visit or stop and rest. The Thames River Police have a station on the Island. Littleton, Spelthorne
Littleton is a village in Surrey in the borough of Spelthorne, in the United Kingdom. It lies between Shepperton Green to the southeast (from which it is separated by the River Ash) and Laleham to the west. It also lies along the southern edge of the Queen Mary Reservoir. Littleton is the home of Shepperton Studios. Littleton was home to the Wood family. Thomas Wood was elected to Parliament.
Desborough Cut
The Desborough Cut is an artificial channel in the River Thames above Sunbury Lock near Walton on Thames in England. It which was completed in 1935 to improve flow and ease navigation on the river. The cut was dug between 1930 and 1935, taking the river on a straight course between Weybridge and Walton, and avoiding a meandering stretch past Shepperton and Lower Halliford. It is 3/4/mile (1 km) and its construction created Desborough Island.
