Middlesex
Middlesex is a former county in southeast England. It was established in antiquity from the territory of the Middle Saxons. Proximate to the United Kingdom capital city of London, the small county became densely populated, leading to problems with its viability. It was subject to a significant loss of territory in 1889 and was abolished on 1 April 1965. The former area of Middlesex now corresponds to much of Greater London and parts of Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey.

Beavers Lane Camp
Beavers Lane Camp, Hounslow, London is a former camp of the British army. It was until 1983 the home of 10 Signals Regiment. The regiment then moved to Wiltshire and the site is now an industrial estate. In the spring of 1942 the 70th Bn. The Middlesex Regt. DCO who were stationed in Hounslow Cavalry Barracks (a few hundred yards up on the other side of Beaver Lane) moved into Beaver Lane Camp and remained there until August 1943.
British Airways Flight 38
British Airways Flight 38 (call sign Speedbird 38) was a scheduled flight from Beijing Capital International Airport which crash landed just short of the runway at its destination, London Heathrow Airport, on 17 January 2008 after an 8,100-kilometre flight. There were no fatalities but 47 people sustained injuries; one serious. The 150-tonne aircraft was the first Boeing 777-200ER to be written off in the model's history.
Cranford Community College
Cranford Community College is a secondary school with academy status in the London Borough of Hounslow, England. The school first opened as Woodfield Secondary School. After the 1944 Education Act, Spring Grove Central School and the council senior schools became secondary modern schools. The Hounslow Heath secondary school was closed and its buildings were transferred to the neighbouring primary school when the Woodfield secondary modern school was opened in 1954 at the Great South West Road.
