New Tavern Fort

New Tavern Fort was built at Gravesend, Kent, England in the 1780s against the threat of invasion from France. It was one of the Palmerston Forts, also known as Royal Commission forts. The fort was extensively rebuilt by General Gordon about 1870. It was regunned in 1904. The large underground magazine complex is open April to September weekends and most public holidays.

Woodville Halls Theatre

The Woodville Halls Theatre is a venue in Gravesend, England. Based on the site of the Civic Centre the Halls are a venue in their own right. There is an 810 seat auditorium which acts as a flexible space for banquets, weddings and trade shows. Underneath the main auditorium is another flexible space and The Blake Art Gallery. Gravesend West railway station

Gravesend West was a railway station on the Gravesend West Line which served Gravesend in Kent. It opened in 1886 and was, for some time, a regular destination for boat trains from London which linked with steamers on the station's pier to ferry passengers to a variety of coastal towns and resorts. The station closed in 1953 to passengers and later to freight in 1968.

The Bat and Ball Ground is a cricket ground in Gravesend, Kent. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1848, when West Kent played an All-England Eleven. In 1849, Kent played an All-England Eleven in the grounds first first-class match. From 1849 to 1971, the ground held 145 first-class matches for Kent, the last of which saw them play the Pakistanis during their tour of England.
