Central line
The Central line is a London Underground line, coloured red on the tube map. It is a deep-level "tube" line, running east-west across London, and, at 76 km it is the longest Underground line. Of the 49 stations served, 20 are below ground. It is considered to be the tube line with the highest point-to-point speeds on the Underground, reaching 70 mph when the 1992 Stock was introduced.

Compass Theatre
The Compass Theatre is a 158 seat theatre in Ickenham, in, and owned by, the London Borough of Hillingdon. Middlesex County Council bought Ickenham Hall and its grounds in 1948 in order to convert it into a youth centre. In 1968 a theatre was built behind the hall, later named the Compass Theatre by the Theatre Director John Sherratt. The two buildings were connected by a new building in 1976. The theatre was refurbished in 1990 and reopened by HRH Prince Edward.
RAF West Ruislip
RAF West Ruislip was a Ministry of Defence site, located in Ickenham within the London Borough of Hillingdon. The base was originally built as a depot for the Royal Air Force (RAF), split by what is now the Chiltern Main Line. North of the railway was RAF Blenheim Crescent, which housed the RAF Records Office and the depot's original personnel accommodation. The site was leased to the US Air Force in 1955, followed by the US Navy in 1975, eventually housing the Navy Exchange of the U.S.
Ickenham Hall
Ickenham Hall is a Grade II Listed Georgian mansion, located in the grounds of the Compass Theatre, Glebe Avenue, Ickenham, and provides office space and hire-able rooms to local organisations. The hall was originally the home of John Crosier and his family, who had taken ownership by 1624. Crosier referred to the house as "Sherwyns" in his will in 1769, though it was later renamed Ickenham Hall after the local Shorediche family renamed their manorial home to Manor Farm.
St Giles' Church, Ickenham
St. Giles' Church is a church in Ickenham, within the London Borough of Hillingdon in England. The church is located in the centre of Ickenham, at the intersection of Swakeleys Road and Long Lane. The oldest parts of the church, the nave and chancel, date back to 1335. Other extensions have been added over the years. Inside the church, several memorials exist to the prominent families of Ickenham.
St Martin's Church, Ruislip
St Martin's Church is a church in the town of Ruislip, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. It has been designated since January 1950 by English Heritage as a Grade B listed building. The present chancel and nave date back to the 13th century. The church stands at the northern end of Ruislip High Street, near the Manor Farm site.
