Three Rivers District
Three Rivers is a local government district in Hertfordshire in the East of England. Its council is based in Rickmansworth. It was formed on 1 April 1974 by the merger of Rickmansworth Urban District and Chorleywood Urban District with part of Watford Rural District. The three rivers of the name are the Chess, Gade and Colne.
Moor Park (house)
Moor Park is a Grade I listed Palladian mansion set within several hundred acres of parkland in Hertfordshire, England. It is called Moor Park Mansion because it is in the old park of the Manor of More. The original house was built in 1678–9 for James Scott, 1st Duke of Monmouth, and inherited by his wife, Anne Scott, 1st Duchess of Buccleuch after he was beheaded.
Royal Masonic School
The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school in Rickmansworth, England, with both day and boarding pupils. The school was instituted in 1788, with the aim of maintaining the daughters of indigent Freemasons, unable through death, illness, or incapacitation to support their families. Today, the school accepts the children of both masons and non-masons. It began in 1789 with fifteen pupils and a Matron in Somers Town, St Pancras, Middlesex.
Harefield Hospital
Harefield Hospital is located in Harefield, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. It is part of the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, which describes itself as "the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe". Harefield's sister hospital is the Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea. The hospital grounds include tennis courts (no longer in use) and a helipad.

The ward includes the eponymous villages of Maple Cross and Mill End, lying between Chorleywood West to the north; Penn, Rickmansworth, and Harefield to the east; and Chalfont St. Giles and Chalfont Common to the west.

Three Rivers District Council is the local authority for the Three Rivers non-metropolitan district of England, the United Kingdom. Three Rivers is located in the south-west of Hertfordshire, in the East of England region. The Council itself is based in Rickmansworth, the largest settlement in the district, but also comprises Abbots Langley, Chorleywood, Croxley Green, Maple Cross, Mill End, Sarratt and South Oxhey.
The More
The More (also known as the Manor of the More) was a sixteenth-century palace near Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, where Catherine of Aragon lived after the annulment of her marriage to Henry VIII of England. It was previously owned by Cardinal Wolsey, and was at More Park. The Treaty of the More was celebrated here by Henry VIII and the French ambassadors. In 1527, the French ambassador, Jean du Bellay thought the house more splendid than Hampton Court. Nothing now remains.
Old Park Wood
Old Park Wood is a 16.7-hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest in Harefield in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The south-east part is an 8-hectare nature reserve owned and managed by the Hertfordshire and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. The site is ancient woodland which dates back to the Domesday Book. It was part of Harefield Park, which had an eighteenth century house which later became the site of Harefield Hospital.
