Hawkesley
Hawkesley is an area of Birmingham, England. It is part of 'The Three Estates', the housing estates Hawkesley, Pool Farm, and Primrose. These are to the south of (and effectively sub-areas of) Kings Norton. The Ordnance Survey grid reference is SP0477. Hawkesley was an important area of action during the English Civil War particularly around Hawkesley Farm which is situated further towards Longbridge site of the famous motor works.
Bittell Reservoirs
The Bittell Reservoirs are located in Worcestershire between Barnt Green to the south and the Birmingham district of Longbridge to the north. They consist of the Upper (Upper Bittell) and Lower (Lower Bittell) reservoir. They were built to feed the Worcester and Birmingham Canal, which was finished in the 1790s, however, the reservoir was not completed until 1837. The 'Upper' reservoir is to ensure that the level of the canal is kept sufficiently high, even in times of drought.

Barnt Green House is a building at Barnt Green, Worcestershire, England. It is a Grade II listed building. It was once a residence of the local nobles, the Earls of Plymouth. Queen Victoria is reputed to have spent the night there. The house was bought by Other Archer Windsor, 6th Earl of Plymouth in 1811, from the previous occupants, the Yates family.
