Bytham River
The Bytham River has been proposed as an ancient river in Pleistocene Great Britain that has been suggested to have run through the English Midlands until around 450,000 years ago. Its course has been suggested as the route that the first humans to visit Britain took. If it existed as a single entity, the river rose in the vicinity of modern-day Stratford-on-Avon and ran through the Midlands for millennia during the first half of the Pleistocene period.
Pleasurewood Hills
Pleasurewood Hills is a theme park on a 59-acre site between Corton and Gunton, near Lowestoft, Suffolk. The park contains attractions including three rollercoasters. Its mascot is called Woody Bear, who was given a "sailor" look in 2007. Hopton-on-Sea railway station
Hopton-on-Sea was a railway station serving the village of Hopton-on-Sea in Norfolk. It closed in 1970. For several years Hopton had a static Camping coach in a siding. It was used as accommodation for holiday makers. The line was reduced from double track to single track in the 1960s when only one platform was used. In February 2008 a stretch of the disused railway line between Hopton and Corton was being considered for sale by Hopton-On-Sea Parish Council.
Corton railway station
Corton was a station in Corton, Suffolk on the line between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. It closed in 1970 with the rest of the line, removing the direct link between these two towns. For several years Corton had a static Camping coach in a siding. It was used as accommodation for holiday makers.
Gorleston Links railway station
Gorleston Links was a railway station in Gorleston, England. It was located on an embankment to the north of Links Road and to the south west of the end of Hill Avenue. The tracks southward crossed Links Road by bridge. Gorleston Links was opened in July 1914 to serve the adjacent golf course . The station was closed four years later as a post-war economy measure, but later reopened in 1919, this time as a result of the increasing number of holiday makers visiting the area.
Enigma (roller coaster)
Enigma is a roller coaster located at Pleasurewood Hills, Corton, Near Lowestoft, Suffolk. It is the only Schwarzkopf Jumbo V in the world, as it was the only one manufactured. It was built in 1983 for a German travelling fair, until it moved to Funland Park in Kent until 1995 when it moved to Pleasurewood Hills as Cannonball Express, where it was mine train themed and was put in a crater next to the car park.
