Great Yarmouth
Great Yarmouth, often known to locals as Yarmouth, is a coastal town in Norfolk, England. It is located at the mouth of the River Yare, 20 miles east of Norwich. It has been a seaside resort since 1760, and is the gateway from the Norfolk Broads to the sea. For hundreds of years it was a major fishing port, depending mainly on the herring fishery, but its fishing industry suffered a steep decline in the second half of the 20th century, and has now all but disappeared.
James Paget Hospital
The James Paget University Hospital (JPUH) is located at Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, on the A12 Lowestoft Road. It serves a population of around 230,000 people in the Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Waveney area. The hospital is named after Sir James Paget. It was established as a third wave NHS Trust from 1 April 1993. The hospital is part of the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and provides acute hospital care, including an Accident and Emergency service.
Britannia Monument
The Britannia Monument is a commemorative column or tower built in memorial to Admiral Horatio Nelson, situated on the Denes, Great Yarmouth in the county of Norfolk, England. Designed by architect William Wilkins, it was raised in the period 1817-1819 from money raised by a committee of local magnates. The first custodian of the monument was former Able Seaman James Sharman, a member of the crew of the Victory from Norfolk and one of those who carried Nelson below decks after he was shot.
Great Yarmouth Outer Harbour
Great Yarmouth Outer Harbour is a port constructed on the east coast of England at Great Yarmouth. Construction work on the Outer Harbour began in June 2007. The harbour which is built in the South Denes area was planned to bring trade to the area. The plans included a container terminal and a passenger ferry terminal, but with no confirmed contracts these were not built.

Gorleston (Range Rear) Lighthouse is located near mouth of River Yare in the town of Gorleston on sea in the English county of Norfolk. The lighthouse was built in 1878. Gorleston lighthouse carries two lights. The rear light for the harbor entrance range (white light, 4 seconds on, 2 seconds off) is mounted on the tower with a focal plane of 23 feet; a fixed red light is also displayed from the gallery with a focal plane of 66 feet.

Gorleston-on-Sea railway station was a station in Gorleston-on-Sea in Norfolk. It was on the line between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft which closed in 1970. Gorleston North railway station
Gorleston North railway station was a former station on the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway connecting Great Yarmouth with Lowestoft. It was located on the northern outskirts of Gorleston-on-Sea, close to Great Yarmouth. Gorleston North was closed during the Second World War before services were withdrawn from the line in 1970, and the station has now been redeveloped.

Gorleston South Pier Lighthouse and Coastwatch station is located in the town of Gorleston in the English county of Norfolk. The lighthouse and station is located at the end of the south pier of seaport on the south side of Great Yarmouth.
Gorleston Links railway station
Gorleston Links was a railway station in Gorleston, England. It was located on an embankment to the north of Links Road and to the south west of the end of Hill Avenue. The tracks southward crossed Links Road by bridge. Gorleston Links was opened in July 1914 to serve the adjacent golf course . The station was closed four years later as a post-war economy measure, but later reopened in 1919, this time as a result of the increasing number of holiday makers visiting the area.
Raid on Yarmouth
The Raid on Yarmouth, which took place on 3 November 1914, was an attack by the German Navy on the British North Sea port and town of Great Yarmouth. Little damage was done to the town since shells only landed on the beach after German ships laying mines offshore were interrupted by British destroyers.
