Penycloddiau
Penycloddiau (Welsh for "hill of the trenches") is a hill in Flintshire, North Wales and is the northernmost marilyn in the Clwydian Range. Offa's Dyke Path crosses the summit, and the Clwydian Way skirts the western slopes. Like Foel Fenlli further south, Penycloddiau has an iron-age hill fort around the summit area. At 26 hectares, it is one of the largest hill forts in Wales.
Aled Rural District
Aled was a rural district in the administrative county of Denbighshire, Wales, from 1935 to 1974. The district was created by a county review order in 1935 which reoganised districts in the county. It was formed by merging the bulk of St Asaph (Denbigh) Rural District with the Nant Conway area previously administered by Conway Rural District in neighbouring Caernarfonshire. The district was named after the River Aled.

Lleweni Hall was a stately home in Denbighshire, northeast Wales, around 2 miles or 3 km north-east of Denbigh on the banks of the River Clwyd. It was the principal seat of the Salusbury family and their descendants from 1066 until 1748, and the present territorial designation of the most senior branch of the family.
Rhewl
Rhewl is a village on the A525 between Ruthin and Denbigh in the county of Denbighshire in Wales. The village is notable for its football club, Rhewl F.C.. Rhewl primary school was one of many schools due to be shut down but protests by the local newspapers and parents of the pupils saved the school from being shut down. The village holds an annual Family Fun Day with live music, hog roast, displays and many more attractions.

Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch is a village and local government community in Denbighshire, Wales. It lies in the Vale of Clwyd near the A525 road between Denbigh and Ruthin. It was also known under the anglicised spellings of Llanrhaiadr in Kinmerch in the nineteenth century, and Llanrhaiadr yn Cinmerch, officially until 6 September 1968.
Llanychan
Llanychan is a parish near Llandyrnog, Denbighshire, Wales. The parish consists of 567 acres, and is the smallest parish in the diocese of St Asaph. The parish stands approximately three miles north-east of Ruthin. There are only two churches in Wales consecrated to Sanit Hychan, Llanychan church, after which the parish is named, is one of these. The church is mentioned to in the Norwich Tax Records in 1254.
Gellifor
Gellifor is a small village in the Vale of Clwyd, Wales. Located at the foot of the Clwydian Range, it is a largely residential settlement. Community facilities are limited but include a primary school and a chapel.
