Highdown Hill
Highdown Hill is a prominent hill in the South Downs, as its name suggests, reaching a height of 81 metres . The summit of the hill and its western slopes lie in the parish of Ferring in the Arun district, while its eastern slopes lie in the borough of Worthing. It is a popular spot for picnickers, dog-walkers and local riders. It overlooks Littlehampton, Angmering, Ferring and Worthing with views, when the weather is good, east as far as the Seven Sisters and west to the Isle of Wight.
Highdown Gardens
Highdown Gardens is a garden on the western edge of the town of Worthing, close to the village of Ferring and the National Trust archaeological site Highdown Hill in West Sussex, England. Overlooking the sea from the South Downs the gardens contain a collection of rare plants and trees, collectively deemed a National Collection. The garden is owned and maintained by Worthing Borough Council with admission being free.
Goring-by-Sea railway station
Goring-by-Sea railway station is in Goring by Sea in the county of West Sussex. The station is operated by Southern. It serves the towns of Goring and Ferring. It is also located between two education facilities, thus providing a method of transport for students of Chatsmore High School and Northbrook College. This station has a ticket office which is open for part of the day.
Sterns Nightclub
Sterns was a nightclub located at Highdown Towers on Highdown Hill in Worthing, West Sussex. The club lies off the A259 road just north of Ferring on the South Downs. It was a rare example of an early UK club boasting 4 separate rooms with DJs playing Rave, Breakbeat hardcore, Jungle music, Techno, Progressive House, Hard House and Garage. Although Sterns had played such music before, the most famous club nights were started in 1991 by a promoter named In-ter-dance run by the late Mensa.

Northbrook College is a further education and higher education college with campuses in Worthing and nearby Shoreham-by-Sea in West Sussex. It is also the principal provider of work-related further education in the Worthing area. The college's Worthing campuses are the University Centre Worthing in West Durrington and the Broadwater campus. The college's Shoreham campus is at Shoreham Airport.

St Mary's Church, Goring-by-Sea
St Mary's Church is an Anglican church in the Goring-by-Sea area of the Borough of Worthing, one of seven local government districts in the English county of West Sussex. The late Norman parish church of the ancient village of Goring retains some architectural elements from that period, but Decimus Burton's comprehensive restoration of 1837 has given the church its present Gothic Revival exterior appearance.
