Britannia Stadium

The Britannia Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, England and the home of Premier League club Stoke City Football Club. It has space for 27,740 spectators (reduced from 28,384 due to segregation). The stadium was built in 1997 at a cost of £14.7 million as a replacement for the Victoria Ground. The name is taken from the sponsors of the stadium, the Britannia Co-operative Bank.

Trentham Gardens

Trentham Gardens are formal Italianate gardens, part of an English landscape park on the Trentham Estate in Trentham, Staffordshire. The site is located on the southern fringe of the city of Stoke-on-Trent, England. The site was also the location of the former Trentham Hall.

Barlaston railway station

Barlaston railway station serves the village of Barlaston in Staffordshire, England. This station was opened on 17 April 1848 and is on the first line opened by the North Staffordshire Railway on that date. Trains no longer stop at Barlaston (the Stafford to Stoke-on-Trent local service was withdrawn when the route was temporarily closed for major refurbishment in 2003 as part of the WCML Modernisation scheme and never reinstated).

Mausoleum, Stoke-on-Trent

The Mausoleum is a Grade I listed building in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, and is the only Grade I building in Stoke. It is situated opposite the main gates of Trentham Gardens. It was built as the resting place for the Dukes of Sutherland.

Stoke Incinerator

Stoke Incinerator is a large incineration plant in the Sideway area of Stoke-on-Trent, England. It burns municipal waste and in the process produces electricity for the National Grid. It was built in 1989 and is operated by Hanford Waste Services Ltd. Michelin Ground

Michelin Ground was a cricket ground in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The ground was built and owned by the Michelin Tyre Company and was located along Campbell Road. Its location today would be next to the bridge halfway along Campbell Road which passes over the A500 road. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1928, when Staffordshire played Lincolnshire in the grounds first Minor Counties Championship match.
