Edgmond, Shropshire
Edgmond is a village in the borough of Telford and Wrekin and ceremonial county of Shropshire, England. It lies 1 mile north-west of the town of Newport. Harper Adams University is in Edgmond. Chetwynd Park estate
The Chetwynd Park estate lies in the small village of Chetwynd on the outskirts of the town Newport, Shropshire, England. The estate is positioned in a gap north of Newport, where the road having crossed the marshland, clings to a steep slope of the Scaur above the meadowlands of the River Meese, where it meets Lonco Brook, before widening out onto the north Shropshire plan. The estate can trace its long history back to the Domesday records, which record a mill and two fisheries.
Chetwynd Park
Chetwynd Park is an 18th century landscape garden with woodland, on the edge of Newport, Shropshire. The park can trace its history back to 1388, when it lay southeast of Chetwynd Park estate. The country house is now lost, but the medieval deer park survives as an agricultural showground, used for Newport Show and other events. The deer park was probably established early in the 18th century, and elements of the pleasure grounds in the 1860s.

Pickstock
Pickstock is a small hamlet in Shropshire, England, where it is part of the civil parish of Chetwynd. Its name is of Old English origin and may mean "Pices' stoc ("dependent settlement")". Situated in an isolated rural area, it was an outlying township of the manor, and later parish, of Edgmond. Pickstock is south-east of the village of Sambrook and the River Meese (where there was once a watermill) runs nearby.

The church is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Edgmond and Shifnal, the archdeaconry of Salop, and the diocese of Hereford. Its benefice is united with those of St Chad, Kynnersley, and St Lawrence, Preston upon the Weald Moors. The church is designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building.
