Donnington, Telford
For other places named Donnington, see: Donnington Donnington was not part of the new town of Telford but part of the already outdated Wellington Rural District which had built many council houses from the 1920s onwards. It is located in the borough of Telford and Wrekin and ceremonial county of Shropshire, England. Aside from the rest of urban Telford, which is to the south west, Donnington is surrounded by fields and countryside.
Lilleshall
Lilleshall is a village in Shropshire, England. It lies between the towns of Telford and Newport, on the A518, in the Telford and Wrekin borough and the Wrekin constituency. The village dates back to Anglo-Saxon times, the parish church being founded by St Chad. It is mentioned in the Domesday book. Lilleshall Abbey, some distance to the east of the village, was an Augustinian house, founded in the twelfth century, the ruins of which are protected by English Heritage.

Muxton
Muxton is an ancient village between Lilleshall and Donnington in Shropshire, England. It now forms part of the new town of Telford, though it is on the town's very northern outskirts. Population was 4,245 as of December 2002. The Shropshire Golf Centre is located near Muxton. The village is home to a doctors' surgery, primary school, parks, church, hotel, Mc Donalds, post office and various other shops.
Uxacona
Uxacona was a Romano-British settlement located near to present-day Oakengates, Shropshire. The settlement lies at the highest point of the Roman Watling Street, approximately 11 miles from Viroconium Cornoviorum to the west, and 11 miles from Pennocrucium to the east. Its only documentary mention is in the 2nd century Antonine Itinerary.

St George's Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Telford, Shropshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1957, when Shropshire played the Derbyshire Second XI in the grounds first Minor Counties Championship match. From 1957 to present, the ground has hosted 20 Minor Counties Championship matches and 3 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. The ground has also held List-A matches.

Lilleshall Abbey was an Augustinian abbey in Shropshire, England, today located 6 miles north of Telford. It was founded between 1145 and 1148 and followed the austere customs and observance of the Abbey of Arrouaise in northern France.
Donnington railway station
Donnington Railway Station was a train station in Shropshire, United Kingdom. It was built by the Shropshire Union Railway. Passenger service ceased in September 1964, and freight service ceased on 4 October 1965.
