Stonyhurst College
Stonyhurst College is a coeducational Roman Catholic independent school, adhering to the Jesuit tradition. It is located on the Stonyhurst Estate near the village of Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley area of Lancashire, England, and occupies a Grade I listed building. The school has been fully co-educational since 1999. The college was founded in 1593 by Father Robert Persons SJ at St Omer, at a time when penal laws prohibited Catholic education in England.

Langho railway station serves the village of Langho in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire, England. The station is 5+⁄4 miles north of Blackburn. It is one of four railway stations along the Ribble line from Blackburn to Clitheroe reopened in the mid 1990s by Lancashire County Council, having been closed by the British Railways Board as an economy measure in 1956, six years before the local passenger service over the line ceased.

The stream rises at the confluence of several minor watercourses at Wheatley Farm close to Copster Green and flows northwards, through Cunliffe House Wood and under Dinckley Bridge (near to where it meets Park Brook). The brook continues past Brockhall, Great Wood and Bradyll, continuing past the Brockhall training base of Blackburn Rovers and through Mill Wood. Soon afterwards, Dinckley Brook falls into the River Ribble.

The Old Zoo is a modern country house in Brockhall Village, Lancashire, 10km south-west of Clitheroe. It was finished in 2000 on the site of the old petting zoo of Brockhall Hospital. It was designed through a competition held by RIBA. The house was commissioned by property tycoon Gerald Hitman in 1997, and the winning design chosen out of over 120 entries was by Homa and Sima Farjadi.
