Bobigny is a commune, or town, in the northeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 9.1 km from the center of Paris. Bobigny is the préfecture (capital) of the Seine-Saint-Denis département, as well as the seat of the Arrondissement of Bobigny. It is only the 12th-largest commune in Seine-Saint-Denis (1999 census). Inhabitants are called Balbyniens.

Established in 1909, it is currently held every odd year at Le Bourget Airport in north Paris, France. The next Paris Air Show, on the 17th to the 23rd of June 2013, will be the 50th. Cimetière de Pantin
The Cimetière de Pantin in the town of Pantin in the suburbs of Paris, France opened on November 15, 1886 and is the largest cemetery in the city, occupying 1.07 km². Located in the north-eastern section of the city, Pantin is a garden style burial ground with more than 8,000 trees, and streets that allow access by motor vehicles. It is one of the least known of the many famous Parisian cemeteries.
Drancy internment camp
The Drancy internment camp was an assembly and detention camp for confining Jews who were later deported to the extermination camps during the German military administration of Occupied France during World War II. It was located in Drancy, a northeastern suburb of Paris, France. Between June 22, 1942, and July 31, 1944, during its use as an internment camp, 67,400 French, Polish, and German Jews were deported from the camp in 64 rail transports, which included 6,000 children.
