Twycross Zoo is an 80-acre zoo near the village of Twycross in Leicestershire, close to the border of Warwickshire (on the A444 about 3 miles off the A42/M42). The zoo claims the largest collections of monkeys and apes in the World, and in 2006 re-launched itself as "Twycross Zoo – The World Primate Centre. " The zoo attracts around 500,000 visitors a year. The zoo is open year round except Christmas Day.
Morebarne Grange
Morebarne or Moore Barn is a grange originally belonging to the Abbey of Merevale, near Orton on the Hill in Sparkenhoe Hundred, Leicestershire, England. It is mentioned in possession of Robert Bradshaw in 1567, and as the 'capite' of Robert Bradshaw esq. the brother of John Bradshaw of Orton on the Hill in 1609. They were descendants of Hugh Bradshaw of Nantwich in Lancashire, who purchased the manor in 1546.
Orton on the Hill
Orton on the Hill is a hamlet forming part of the Twycross civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England. It is furthermore located in the Sparkenhoe Hundred. The name is derived from its high situation on a hill overlooking four counties, (also formerly called Wortone or Overtone). Orton adjoins Morebarne, Sheepy and Newhouse Grange on the south, Appleby and Austrey to the east.

The school building dates from 1697, based on an original design by Sir Christopher Wren, with financing from local land holder, Lord Mayor and Alderman of London, Sir John Moore. Little Orton is a hamlet in the English county of Leicestershire. Little Orton is part of the civil parish of Twycross; it is located southwest of the main village being divided from it by the A444 road and Twycross Zoo.
A42 road (England)
The A42 is a major trunk road in the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom. It links junction 23A of the M1 motorway to junction 11 of the M42 motorway. The A42 is in effect a continuation of the M42, and its junctions are numbered accordingly. It is built to a similar standard to the M42 being a grade separated dual carriageway. The 6-mile Measham and Ashby-de-la-Zouch bypass section was opened in August 1989 at a cost of £33m.
