Barton in the Beans
Barton in the Beans is a hamlet in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England and forms part of the Shackerstone civil parish. There are no shops or pubs here, only a Baptist Church and a post box. It was in the 18th century an important centre for the Baptist Church and the minister at Barton was the notable clockmaker Samuel Deacon (1746-1816). The population ca. 1830 was 177.

Shackerstone railway station is a heritage railway station and museum in Leicestershire, England. It is also a terminus for the Battlefield Line Railway. Shackerstone Station is the headquarters of that railway with the Shackerstone Railwayana Museum, tea room, shop, loco shed and main rolling stock located here. The Ashby Canal is just a stone's throw from the station's front door.
Market Bosworth railway station
Market Bosworth railway station is a former stop on the London and North Western Railway and the Midland Railway, who jointly operated the line between Moira West Junction and Nuneaton as the Ashby and Nuneaton Joint Railway. The station is to the west of the market town of Market Bosworth. Nowadays it is part of the heritage Battlefield Line Railway, some 3 miles to the south of the railway's base at Shackerstone.

The Gas Museum, also known as the National Gas Museum, is situated in the former gatehouse of a gasworks in Leicester, England, and deals with the history of domestic and industrial gas supply. It is claimed to be "the biggest collection of gas and gas related artefacts in the world". The building is a Grade II listed building, dating from 1878, with a clock tower. The public museum is on two floors, with over 4000 items in storage.
