Central line
The Central line is a London Underground line, coloured red on the tube map. It is a deep-level "tube" line, running east-west across London, and, at 76 km it is the longest Underground line. Of the 49 stations served, 20 are below ground. It is considered to be the tube line with the highest point-to-point speeds on the Underground, reaching 70 mph when the 1992 Stock was introduced.

Ruislip Lido Railway
The Ruislip Lido Railway is a 12 gauge miniature railway around Ruislip Lido in Ruislip, 14 miles west of central London. Running from the main station at Woody Bay by the lido's beach, on a 1.5-mile track around the reservoir, the railway passes through Ruislip Woods to Ruislip Lido station near the Water's Edge restaurant and the lido's car park and is the longest exact 12-inch gauge railway in the United Kingdom. There are two disused stations on the line: Eleanor's Loop and Haste Hill.
Ruislip-Northwood Urban District
Ruislip-Northwood was an urban district in west Middlesex, England, from 1904 to 1965. From its inception Ruislip-Northwood fell within the Metropolitan Police District and from 1933 it was part of the London Passenger Transport Area. The urban district council presided over a huge increase in population as the Metropolitan Railway gave rise to many new development opportunities. This created many challenges to improve public services and housing while preserving the area's heritage sites.

RAF Eastcote
RAF Eastcote, also known over time as RAF Lime Grove, HMS Pembroke V and Outstation Eastcote, was a Ministry of Defence site in Eastcote, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. The British Government first used the site during the Second World War, constructing a military hospital in preparation for casualties from the D-Day landings. They were not required for the purpose and later became an outstation of the Bletchley Park codebreaking operations.
Highgrove House, Eastcote
Highgrove House, also known as High Grove House or High Grove, is a Grade II listed mansion in the suburban area of Ruislip, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. Originally built in 1750 by the Reverend John Lidgould, the house was rebuilt in 1881 by Sir Hugh Hume-Campbell following a catastrophic fire.
St Martin's Church, Ruislip
St Martin's Church is a church in the town of Ruislip, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. It has been designated since January 1950 by English Heritage as a Grade B listed building. The present chancel and nave date back to the 13th century. The church stands at the northern end of Ruislip High Street, near the Manor Farm site.
Eastcote House Gardens
Eastcote House Gardens is an area of public parkland in Eastcote, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. The site covers 3.8168 hectares and incorporates the walled garden, dovecote and coach house of Eastcote House. The house was demolished by the Ruislip-Northwood Urban District Council (RNUDC), the predecessor of the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Haydon Hall
Haydon Hall was one of the three main houses of Eastcote, within what is now the London Borough of Hillingdon. The house was built in 1630 as a home for Lady Alice, Dowager Countess of Derby who had been living in Harefield. The house remained in the ownership of Lady Alice's descendants for several years, on the side of her eldest daughter. For a time the house was renamed "Eastcote Park" though was returned to the original name.
Ruislip High School
Ruislip High School is a secondary comprehensive school in Ruislip Gardens, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. The school opened to a single intake of Year 7 pupils in September 2006, and was officially opened in a ceremony in March 2007. The school's first GCSE results were released in August 2011, by which time the school had reached being five-form entry.
