Crewe Alexandra F.C
Crewe Alexandra Football Club is a professional football club based in Crewe, Cheshire, England. Nicknamed The Railwaymen due to the town's links with the rail industry, they play in Football League One, the third tier in the English football league system, and are based at the Alexandra Stadium. The club was formed in 1877 and reputedly named after Princess Alexandra, though some suggest they are named after The Princess public house in which the club was formed.

Dario Gradi MBE (born 8 July 1941) is an Italian-born English football manager and former player. He has been associated for almost thirty years with Crewe Alexandra, with whom he is currently the Director of Football and also Director of the academy. Gradi is notable for his 24-year first spell as manager of Crewe, between 1983 and 2007. He stepped down from his managerial role in 2007, handing first-team responsibilities to Steve Holland, and became technical director.

Crewe Diesel Traction Maintenance Depot or Crewe Diesel TMD was a diesel-electric locomotive Traction Maintenance Depot situated to the south of and visible from Crewe railway station. The depot is owned by EWS. The depot code is CD. It is now closed and is used for storing surplus rolling stock. Crewe Diesel has an extensive history of assessing, maintaining, repairing, storing and scrapping diesel-electric locomotives.

Crewe Works Railway
The Crewe Works Railway was a narrow gauge internal tramway system serving Crewe Works, the main locomotive construction works of the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) and later the London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS). The system was first introduced by John Ramsbottom the LNWR Locomotive Superintendent from 1857 and it was a pioneering use of locomotive propelled vehicles within a manufacturing plant. The Crewe system was soon adopted elsewhere.
