Creamfields
Creamfields is a large dance music festival featuring DJs and live acts. It is held annually on the August Bank Holiday weekend in Daresbury, Cheshire, England. Daresbury Laboratory is a scientific research laboratory near Daresbury in Cheshire, England, which began operations in 1962 and was officially opened on 16 June 1967 as the Daresbury Nuclear Physics Laboratory by the then Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Harold Wilson. All Saints' Church, Daresbury, is in the village of Daresbury, Cheshire, England. It is known for its association with Lewis Carroll who is commemorated in its stained glass windows depicting characters from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The project was originally conceived as a test bed for 4GLS, and consists of: A 350keV photoinjector laser. An 8.35MeV superconducting RF booster linac. A 35MeV superconducting RF main linac in which energy is recovered from used electron bunches and given to new bunches.

Synchrotron Radiation Source
The Synchrotron Radiation Source (SRS) at the Daresbury Laboratory in Cheshire, England was the first second-generation synchrotron radiation source to produce X-rays. The research facility provided synchrotron radiation to a large number (at one point 38) experimental stations and had an operating cost of approximately £20 million per annum. SRS had been operated by the Science and Technology Facilities Council.
Daresbury Hall
Daresbury Hall is a former country house in the village of Daresbury, Cheshire, England. It was built in 1759 for George Heron. The house is constructed in brown brick with stone dressings, and has a slate roof. Its architectural style is Georgian. The house is in three storeys and seven bays. It has a stone plinth and stone bands between the storeys. Framing the middle three bays are rusticated pilasters, and similar quoins at the corners. All the windows are sash windows.
Moore Hall, Cheshire
Moore Hall is a country house located in the village of Moore, Cheshire. It was built in the early 18th century, and is constructed in roughcast brick with a slate roof. The house has three storeys, and is in five bays. The porch is a more modern, and is fronted by a Venetian window. The windows are sashes. The house has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building.
