Llanbadrig

Llanbadrig is a parish in the cwmwd of Talybolion, on the island of Anglesey, north Wales. The parish includes the township of Clygyrog and the little port of Cemaes (pronounced "Kem-ice"). The region has extensive quarries of limestone and marble. The Welsh name Llanbadrig means "Church of Saint Patrick" and there is indeed a Church of St. Patrick on the coast near Cemaes. It is said to have been founded in 440CE by St Patrick himself.

St Pabo's Church, Llanbabo is a medieval church in Llanbabo, in Anglesey, North Wales. Much of the church dates to the 12th century, and it is regarded as a good example of a church of its period that has retained many aspects of its original fabric. The church houses a tombstone slab from the 14th century, depicting a king with crown and sceptre, bearing the name of Pabo Post Prydain, the reputed founder of the church.

St Fflewin's Church, Llanfflewin

St Fflewin's Church, Llanfflewin (sometimes referred to as St Fflewyn's Church, Llanfflewyn) is a small rural church, situated by a farm in Anglesey, north Wales. The first church on the site is said to have been built by St Fflewin in 630, but the present building has no structural features dating from before the 18th century, although the church has a font from the 14th or 15th century and part of an inscribed medieval gravestone has been reused in a window sill.

St Peirio's Church, Rhosbeirio

St Peirio's Church, Rhosbeirio is a small disused medieval church, in Anglesey, north Wales. It is unclear when a church was first established on this site, although it has been said that this happened in about 605. The current structure, which may date from the 15th century, has been restored in the 18th and 19th centuries. It ceased being used for services some years ago and has been boarded up.

Llanfechell

Llanfechell is a village in Anglesey, North Wales, UK. It is the largest of several small villages and dispersed settlements that make up Mechell Community Council area. It is 11 miles east of Holyhead, and 5.6 miles west of Amlwch, on the north of the island. The Community (which also includes Mynydd Mechell and Carreglefn) has a 2001 population of 1,532. Village services include a church, a primary school, a pub and two chapels.

Cae Gwyn SSSI

Cae Gwyn Site of Special Scientific Interest is a small heath and ponds at the northern end of the Isle of Anglesey. The site has two distinct pond areas separated by a heathy ridge and is particularly notable for the abundance of royal fern Osmunda regalis, bog sedge Carex limosa and especially for the populations of locally uncommon cranberry Vaccinium oxycoccus growing on a Sphagnum lawn in one of the ponds.
