Dunfermline
Dunfermline is a town and former Royal Burgh in Fife, Scotland, on high ground 3 miles (4.8 km) from the northern shore of the Firth of Forth. According to a 2010 estimate, Dunfermline has a population of 48,240, making it the second-biggest settlement in Fife. The area around Dunfermline became home to the first settlers in the Neolithic period, but did not gain recognition until the Bronze Age as a place of importance.
Woodmill High School
Woodmill High School is a local authority run High School in Dunfermline, Scotland. It is one of four High Schools in the town. The school opened in 1958, to serve the expanding estates of Abbeyview, Touch and Garvock. The name Woodmill comes from the former purpose of the land it was built on. It was initially a Secondary School, but was upgraded to full High School status in 1968.
Townhill, Fife
The small village of Townhill lies just north of the Royal burgh of Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. The origin of the community is thought to be from the coal-mining industry. There is a Church of Scotland parish church, which shares a minister with nearby Kingseat. It is the site of the Scotland National Waterski Centre, and is surrounded by a country park comprising pathways (some of which were originally railway lines for coal works) and a forest.

Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline
