Whitchurch Canonicorum
Whitchurch Canonicorum or Whitechurch Canonicorum is a village in south-west Dorset, England, situated in the Marshwood Vale five miles northwest of Bridport. The village has a population of 647; 10.1% of dwellings are second homes. On the northern edge of the village is the Church of St Candida and Holy Cross. It is noteworthy as containing the only shrine in Britain to have survived the Reformation with its relics intact, apart from that of Saint Edward the Confessor in Westminster Abbey.
Golden Cap
Golden Cap is a hill and cliff situated between Bridport and Charmouth in Dorset, England. The cliffs are the highest point on the south coast of Great Britain. The name derives from the distinctive outcropping of golden greensand rock present at the very top of the cliff. The hill is owned by the National Trust and forms part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site.
Eype Mouth
Eype Mouth is a natural break in a line of sea cliffs on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in west Dorset on the south coast of England. The small River Eype drains into the sea at this point. Eype means 'a steep place' in Old English. The village of Eype (divided into the settlements Lower and Higher Eype) lies just upstream of the rivermouth, which is reached by a single narrow lane which runs down through Lower Eype to a shingle beach with car park.
Seatown
Seatown is a coastal hamlet in Dorset, England. It is part of the Jurassic Coast and lies just over a kilometre from Chideock beneath Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast of England. Seatown beach is popular with fossil collectors, with rock of Late Jurassic/Early Cretaceous. A small river runs into the sea here. The hamlet is made up of a small number of houses, a holiday park, some holiday cottages and "The Anchor" pub.
Eype
Eype is a small village in south west Dorset, England. The village is situated on the Jurassic Coast, several miles west of Bridport. Eype means "steep place" and many of its buildings can be traced back to the late eighteenth or early nineteenth centuries, but little is known in detail until the Victorian era. To its west, Eype Beach has the magnificent Golden Cap - the highest cliff on the south coast at 191 m above sea level.

Thorncombe Beacon
Thorncombe Beacon is a hill situated between Bridport and Charmouth in Dorset, England. It lies about 1km west of Eype Mouth and 2km east of Seatown. It is in the very south-west part of Symondsbury parish close to the parish of Chideock. It lies close to the South West Coast Path and the Monarch's Way, which skirt the hilltop. It is 157m high, compared to 191m for Golden Cap which lies about 3km to the west.
Hardown Hill
Hardown Hill (207 metres, 679 feet high) is a hill between Ryall and Morcombelake in the county of Dorset, England. It rises west of the South Dorset Downs, close to the Dorset coast, and overlooks the Marshwood Vale to the north. Its prominence qualifies it as one of Dorset's four Marilyns. The hill lies about 6 kilometres west of Bridport and about 500 metres north of the A 35 road.
