Fallston, Maryland
Fallston is a census-designated place (CDP) in Harford County, Maryland, United States. The population was 8,427 at the 2000 census. It is a semi-rural community consisting mostly of farms and suburban-like developments and is a good example of an "exurb". Until 1958, this community was served by the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad at milepost 22.3.
Pleasant Hills, Maryland
Pleasant Hills is a census-designated place (CDP) in Harford County, Maryland, United States. The population was 2,851 at the 2000 census. There is no post office with the designation Pleasant Hills; most of the residents have either Fallston or Kingsville addresses and consider themselves as belonging to those communities.
Fallston High School
Fallston High School is located in the town of Fallston, in Harford County, Maryland. The school is made up of three floors. On the main floor are located the administrative office, guidance office, media center (library), academic classrooms, gymnasiums and main entrance to the theater. The upper floor is predominantly classrooms and the theater balcony. The lower level holds the cafeteria, Music and Technical skills classrooms and the locker rooms. Computer labs are located on all levels.
Ma and Pa Trail
The Ma and Pa Trail is a 6.25-mile multi-purpose rail trail that follows the path of the old Ma and Pa Railroad through Harford County, Maryland. It contains three linked trails, one unconnected, with plans to bridge the gap in the middle, bringing the total length to 10 miles . Both links of the trail are paved, have few steep hills or hazards, and contain overlooks and bridges when necessary.
Bel Forest Academy
Bel Forest Christian Academy is located in Bel Air, Maryland, United States. It is a relatively small school, with an enrollment of approximately 100 students. The school goes from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. The school was built in 1980, and Bel Forest celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2005. The Governor at the time, Robert Ehrlich, was there and met with school representatives.
