Ebbw Valley Railway
The Ebbw Valley Railway (Welsh: Rheilffordd Cwm Ebwy) is a branch line of the Great Western Main Line in South Wales. Arriva Trains Wales provides an hourly passenger service each way, between Ebbw Vale Parkway and Cardiff Central. The Great Western Railway (GWR) operated a passenger service on the line from the 1850s between Newport and Ebbw Vale. The line became part of British Railways' Western Region in 1948, following the nationalisation of the railways.
Ebbw Vale Parkway railway station
Ebbw Vale Parkway railway station (Welsh: Parcffordd Glyn Ebwy) is the current terminus of the Ebbw Valley Railway in Wales. The station opened on 6 February 2008 when services to and from Cardiff Central commenced after 46 years of being a freight-only line. Plans include extending services to Ebbw Vale Town and restoration of an hourly service to Newport. The station has been built on a site close to the former Victoria station in the Victoria area of the Ebbw Vale conurbation.
Brynmawr Rubber Factory
The Brynmawr Rubber Factory was a notable building situated in Brynmawr in Wales. It was designed between 1946 and 1951 by The Architect's Co-Op, a group of Architecture students from the AA in London, in collaboration with engineer Ove Arup. It was used for producing various rubber products and is considered by many as a Modernist icon. The main production floor was spanned by nine huge concrete shell domes which were punctuated by circular rooflights.

Mynydd Carn-y-cefn
Mynydd Carn-y-cefn is the name given to the broad ridge of high ground between the Ebbw Vale and the valley of the Ebbw Fach in the Valleys region of South Wales. It lies within the unitary area of Blaenau Gwent, formerly Monmouthshire. The broad-topped ridge runs NNW-SSE and achieves a summit height of 550 metres at a point crowned by a trig point at OS grid ref SO 187084 between Ebbw Vale and Blaina.
Waunavon railway station
Waunavon railway station, also known as "Waunafon", was a station that served as a junction for Milfraen Pit colliery, south east Wales. Build by the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) as an expansion for the Brynmawr and Blaenavon Railway to meet Blaenavon. At an altitude of 1401 ft above sea level, Waunavon was the highest railway station on a standard gauge line in England and Wales.
Nantyglo Round Towers
Nantyglo Round Towers are located at Roundhouse Farm, Nantyglo near Brynmawr in the borough of Blaenau Gwent in the South Wales Valleys. The two fortified towers were constructed in 1816 during the period of national unrest due to high wheat prices following the end of the Napoleonic wars, by the ironmasters Matthew Wayne (1780–1853) and Joseph Bailey, beside Nantyglo House or Ty Mawr as barracks for the militia and places of retreat.
Blaina & District Hospital
Blaina and District Hospital (alternatively Blaina and Nantyglo Community Hospital) was a community hospital in Blaina. It was latterly operated by the Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board. The hospital was opened in 1910, paid for from subscriptions by local mining communities and became part of the NHS in 1948. It was closed in 2010 and services were transferred to Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan in Ebbw Vale.
