Billesdon Rural District
Billesdon was a rural district of Leicestershire, England. It originates with the Billesdon Poor Law Union, formed in 1835. In 1894 the area became a rural district. It was named for the village of Billesdon. 1935 saw the rural district decreased by the annexing of Humberstone, most of Evington, and some of Thurnby civil parishes to Leicester (with some small parts going to Oadby in 1936).

Carlton Curlieu is a small village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, about eleven miles south-east of Leicester city centre, and not far from Kibworth. According to the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 30. Carlton Curlieu Hall is a Grade II* listed building.

Carlton Curlieu Hall
Carlton Curlieu Hall is a privately owned 17th century country house at Carlton Curlieu, Leicestershire. It is the home of the Palmer family and is a Grade II* listed building. John Bale purchased land at Carlton Curlieu in 1549 and in 1575 his nephew and namesake acquired the Manor estate. His son, also John Bale, High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1624, replaced the old manor house with the present house on the same site in 1636.
Noseley Hall
Noseley Hall is a privately owned 18th-century country house situated at Noseley, Billesden, Leicestershire. It is a Grade II* listed building Anciently held by the Marteval family, it has been the seat of the Hazlerigg family since 1419 when the Marteval heiress married Thomas Hasilrige (The spelling of the family name was changed in 1818). The house was built in the 1720s by Sir Arthur Haselrige on the site of the previous 15th-century manor house, of which no trace remains.
