Dry cask storage
Dry cask storage is a method of storing high-level radioactive waste, such as spent nuclear fuel that has already been cooled in the spent fuel pool for at least one year. These casks are typically steel cylinders that are either welded or bolted closed. When inside, the fuel rods are surrounded by inert gas. Ideally, the steel cylinder provides leak-tight containment of the spent fuel.

The name "Alpengeist" is German for "Ghost of the Alps" or "Alps Spirit" and the ride is themed to a runaway ski lift. Since it opened in 1997, Alpengeist has been the worlds tallest and fastest complete circuit inverted coaster.

Verbolten is a Zierer multi-launching steel roller coaster that officially opened on May 18, 2012 at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia after a soft opening began on Friday, May 11, 2012. Details about the ride were released on September 17, 2011 including a teaser video, ride statistics, and more. The new ride has replaced the Big Bad Wolf, an Arrow Dynamics suspended roller coaster that was retired in 2009.
Kingsmill Championship
The Kingsmill Championship is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, played in Williamsburg, Virginia. Previously known as the "Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill" and played in May, the tournament was founded in 2003 and was played for seven seasons. Absent in 2010 and 2011, it returns for the 2012 season in early September, with plans to return to May in 2013. The LPGA event succeeded the Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, an annual PGA Tour event last held in 2002.
