Roxborough, Philadelphia
Roxborough is a neighborhood in the Northwest Philadelphia section of the United States city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is bordered to the southwest, along the Schuylkill River, by the neighborhood of Manayunk, along the northeast by the Wissahickon Creek section of Fairmount Park, and to the southeast by the neighborhood of East Falls. Beyond Roxbrough to the northwest is Montgomery County. Roxborough's zip code is 19128. Most of Roxborough is in Philadelphia's 21st Ward.

Chestnut Hill College is a coeducational Roman Catholic college in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. It was founded in 1924, as a women's college, by the Sisters of St. Joseph. It was originally named Mount Saint Joseph College. In 1980, the college established a coeducational graduate education program and started to admit male students to its undergraduate programs in 2003.

Esherick House
The Esherick House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is one of the most studied of the nine built houses designed by American architect Louis Kahn. Commissioned by Margaret Esherick, it was completed in 1961. The house is noted especially for its spatial organization and for the ventilation and natural lighting provided by its unusual window and shutter configuration. A kitchen of wood and copper was created for the house by Wharton Esherick, a nationally known craftsman and artist.

From 1861 to 2010 Chestnut Hill Academy was an all-male Pre-K through 12 independent college preparatory school located in northwest Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2010 CHA merged with its academic partner and neighbor, the all-girls school Springside School. The two schools together are now known as Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.
Roxborough Township, Pennsylvania
Roxborough Township is a defunct township that was located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. The township ceased to exist and was incorporated into the City of Philadelphia following the passage of the Act of Consolidation, 1854. The name is still applied to the modern day neighborhood of Roxborough which was once a part of Roxborough Township. The area was likely named for Roxburghshire, Scotland, the ancestral home of Andrew Robeson, one of the earliest settlers of the area.

Chestnut Hill West (SEPTA station)
Chestnut Hill West Station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station at 9 West Evergreen Avenue off Germantown Avenue, Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station was originally built by the Philadelphia, Germantown and Chestnut Hill Railroad between 1883 and 1884, and acquired by the Pennsylvania Railroad. In 1918, when the station was electrified, the station was rebuilt to accommodate the upgrade.

Battle of Barren Hill
The Battle of Barren Hill was a minor engagement during the American Revolution. On May 20, 1778, a British force attempted to encircle a smaller Continental force under the Marquis de Lafayette. The maneuver failed, with the Continentals escaping the trap, but the British took the field.

Established in 1915, the park was named in honor of Francis Pastorius, a leader of early German immigrants to the area. It is located in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, at Lincoln Drive and Abington Avenue. The park includes a pond and an amphitheater. The Chestnut Hill Community Association sponsors evening concerts at the park during the summer.
