Peterston-super-Ely
Peterston-super-Ely is a village in the Welsh county of the Vale of Glamorgan. As its name suggests, the village lies on the River Ely, on the other side of which is the Coryton estate. The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Peter. There are small remains of a castle. Peterston-super-Ely is the primary outdoor filming location for the Welsh-language soap opera, Pobol y Cwm. The Wenvoe transmitting station is a facility for broadcasting and telecommunications situated close to the village of Wenvoe in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, in the UK. It comprises a 248-metre guyed mast with antennas attached at various heights. The mast (with extension completed February 2008) plus the Main UHF antenna on top now gives a structure height of 260.7 metres (855 ft). The structure is called a dolmen, which was the most common megalithic structure in Europe.

The St Lythans burial chamber (Welsh: siambr gladdu Lythian Sant) is a single stone megalithic dolmen, built around 6,000 BP as part of a chambered long barrow, during the mid Neolithic period, in what is now known as the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It lies about one km (0.62 miles) to the west of the hamlet of St Lythans, near Dyffryn Gardens.
Coedarhydyglyn
Coedarhydyglyn or Coedriglan, formerly Old Coedarhydyglyn (meaning 'the wood along the glen'), is a private Grade I listed neo-classical regency villa and estate on the western rim of Cardiff, less than half a mile from Culverhouse Cross, southeast Wales. It is accessed via the A48 road between Cardiff and St. Nicholas at the top of "The Tumble" hill leading up from Culverhouse Cross and Coedarhydyglyn Lane which leads to Drope to the north.
Goldsland
Goldsland is a small hamlet and farm in the Vale of Glamorgan in south Wales. It is located near the boundary of the Wenvoe Castle Golf Club in the parish of Wenvoe. It lies to the east of Dyffryn and south of St Lythans and the road leading from the west passes through the farms of Old and New Wallace. Goldsland Brook flows through here. A sub-manor was reportedly held at Goldsland by a Mathew of Llandaff under the manor of Wenvoe in 1583.
