Barry Town FC (Welsh: Clwb Pêl Droed Tref Y Barri) is an association football team based in Barry. They are best known for dominating the Welsh Premier League during the 1990s and early 2000s (decade), but finished bottom in 2003–04 and were relegated. The team is now funded by supporters, independent of the parent company Barry Town AFC Ltd. Barry Docks Railway Station is one of three railway stations serving the town of Barry, South Wales. More centrally located than Barry station, it is located on the Vale of Glamorgan Line from 7+⁄4 miles south of Cardiff Central towards Bridgend and Barry Island. It was built after the Barry Railway Company was incorporated by Act of Parliament on 14 August 1884, for the construction of a dock at Barry Island.

It is the home of football club, Barry Town, and has been since 1913, when local volunteers and businesses worked together to build the new ground for the newly-formed football team.
