Aberyscir is a village in the Welsh county of Powys, in mid-Wales.
Mynydd Illtud
Mynydd Illtud is an extensive area of common land three miles south-west of Brecon in the Brecon Beacons National Park in the county of Powys, Wales. The common is an undulating plateau lying between 330 and 370 metres (and ft) above sea level. Its highest points are 381 metres at Allt Lom and 367 metres at Twyn y Gaer trig point overlooking the valley of the River Usk.
Afon Ysgir
The Afon Ysgir is a short river which rises on the southern slopes of Mynydd Epynt in Powys, Wales. The tributaries known as Ysgir Fawr and Ysgir Fechan flow past the hamlets of Pont Rhyd-y-berry and Merthyr Cynog to combine at Pont-faen and continue past the village of Battle to join the River Usk at Aberyscir. Its upper reaches are within the military training area of SENTA, the British Army's Sennybridge Training Area.
Libanus, Powys
Libanus is a village in the Brecon Beacons National Park, in the county of Powys, Wales, United Kingdom. It lies on the A470 road approximately 1 mile north-east of its junction with the A4215 road, and approximately 5 miles south-west of Brecon. The village used to have a primary school which was also used as a town hall but it has since been closed down due to lack of government funding.
Llanspyddid
Llanspyddid is a small village just west of Brecon within the Brecon Beacons National Park. It lies within the valley of the River Usk in the community of Glyn Tarell in the county of Powys, Wales. Llanspyddid sits on the A40 trunk road between Brecon and Llandovery. The Welsh name signifies the 'church of Saint Ysbyddyd', though the village church is in fact dedicated to Saint Cadog.

Cradoc is a small village, about two miles northwest of Brecon, Wales. It lies within the administrative community of Yscir and partly within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Its principal attractions are Cradoc Golf Course and the nearby hill of Pen-y-crug topped by an impressive Iron Age hillfort.
Pen-y-crug
Pen-y-crug is a hill in the Brecon Beacons National Park in the county of Powys, south Wales. It is commonly referred to locally as simply 'The Crug' (pronounced cree-g). The Welsh name signifies 'top of the mound'. It slopes are moderately gently on three sides; only to the west do they steepen somewhat. Its flat trig point adorned summit at 331m overlooks the valley of the River Usk to the south.
Brecon VHF-FM transmitting station
The Brecon VHF FM transmitting station was originally built by the BBC in 1965 as a relay for VHF FM radio. It consists of a pair of 15 m wooden telegraph poles - one carrying the transmitting antennas, and the other carrying receiving aerials pointed at Wenvoe transmitting station near Cardiff. These stand on land at Pencrug Farm, about 244 m above sea level. The station does not radiate television, and never did.
