Llanddeusant, Carmarthenshire

Llanddeusant is a community in the Black Mountain region of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is about 5 miles southeast of Llangadog. Llanddeusant lies within the Llansadwrn & Llangadog / Myddfai & Llanddeusant ward, which had a population of 2,412 at census 2001. The name, meaning "church of two saints", is supposed to originate from the fact that Teilo and Saint David are believed to have met there. The 'Old Red Lion Inn' is now a Youth hostel.

Garreg Las

Garreg Las is a subsidiary summit of Fan Brycheiniog in the Brecon Beacons National Park in the county of Carmarthenshire, south Wales. Its summit sits towards the northern end of a broad north-south ridge, Esgair Hir ("long ridge"), at 635 metres above sea level. The hill is sometimes referred to as Twyn Swnd. A subsidiary top just over 1 kilometre to the north of the main summit is Carreg yr Ogof, whose name ("rock of the cave") reflects its limestone geology.

Waun Lefrith

Waun Lefrith is a top of Picws Du and is also the westernmost of the Carmarthen Fans or Bannau Sir Gaer, a group of peaks within the Black Mountain of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It lies within the county of Carmarthenshire. The summit plateau of the mountain reaches a height of 677m above sea level. Picws Du is the other, higher summit of the Bannau Sir Gaer / Carmarthen Fans.
