Dyffryn Cellwen
Dyffryn Cellwen is a village in the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot, South Wales. It is situated in the upper Dulais Valley near the junction of the A4109 and A4221 roads, northwest of the smaller settlement of Banwen. It is part of the community of Onllwyn. The village stands close to the course of the Roman road from Neath to Brecon, and there are traces of a Roman fort and camp nearby. At one time, mining for iron, copper, and especially coal were important activities in the area.

Coed Hills Rural Artspace is situated close to the village of St Hilary in the Vale of Glamorgan, approximately 8 miles west of Cardiff. Set in 180 acres of woodland and pasture, the the Artspace was established in 1997 and is designed following principles of low impact development, aiming to combine creativity with sustainability. We have an 8 acre market garden and a 2 acre forest garden on site, and host conferences, courses and events.
Vale of Neath
The Vale of Neath (or Neath Valley), one of the South Wales Valleys, encompasses the upper reaches of the River Neath in southwest Wales. In addition to the River Neath, it is traversed by the Neath Canal and the A465 dual carriageway. Settlements in the valley include: Neath, Cadoxton, Tonna, Aberdulais, Resolven, Blaengwrach, Glynneath and Pontneddfechan. Coal mining is now a growing industry in the valley with mining operations being located at Aberpergwm and Pentreclwydau near Glynneath.
Glynneath (electoral ward)
Glynneath is the name of an electoral ward and a parish in Neath Port Talbot county borough, Wales. The electoral ward of Glynneath consists of some or all of the following settlements: Glynneath, Morfa Glas, Rheola, Crugau, Pont-walby, Bryn-awel, Pentreclwydau and Aber-pergwym in the parliamentary constituency of Neath. Most of the ward consists of woodland. The floor of the Vale of Neath crosses the ward on its south eastern edge.
Aberpergwm
Aberpergwm is the site of a colliery in the Vale of Neath near Glynneath in south Wales. The drift mine was reopened in 1996 after being closed by British Coal in 1985. It is owned and worked by Energybuild, a private company now wholly owned by Walter Energy of the USA (as of April 2011). Afon Pyrddin
The Afon Pyrddin is a river forming the boundary between the county of Powys and the county borough of Neath Port Talbot in south Wales, Great Britain. It also forms a part of the boundary of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The river and its waterfalls are one of the key attractions of the recently designated Fforest Fawr Geopark. The name could be a reference to Saint David, the patron saint of Wales – purddyn meaning "pure man" in Welsh – although the likelihood of this has been disputed.
Aberpergwm House
Aberpergwm House is an abandoned and ruinous country house located in Glynneath, Wales. Within the grounds of the house sits the church of St. Cadoc, which is possibly of late medieval origin.
