Golden Hind
The Golden Hind or Hinde was an English galleon best known for its circumnavigation of the globe between 1577 and 1580, captained by Sir Francis Drake. She was originally known as the Pelican, but was renamed by Drake mid-voyage in 1578, as he prepared to enter the Strait of Magellan, calling it the Golden Hind to compliment his patron, Sir Christopher Hatton, whose armorial crest was a golden 'hind'. Hatton was one of the principal sponsors of Drake's world voyage.
Greenway Estate
Greenway is an estate on the River Dart near Galmpton in Devon, England. It was first mentioned in 1493 as "Greynway", the crossing point of the Dart to Dittisham. In the late 16th century a Tudor mansion called Greenway Court was built by the Gilbert family. Greenway was the birthplace of Humphrey Gilbert. The present Georgian house was probably built in the late 18th century by Roope Harris Roope and extended by subsequent owners.
Dartmouth Steam Railway
The Dartmouth Steam Railway, formerly known as the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, is a 6.7-mile heritage railway on the former Great Western Railway branch line between Paignton and Kingswear in Devon, England. Much of the railway's business is summer tourists from the resorts of Torbay who are transported to Kingswear from where the Dartmouth Passenger Ferry takes them across the River Dart to Dartmouth. The line is owned and operated by Dart Valley Railway plc.

Noss is the name given to an Iron Age hill fort situated close to Dartmouth in Devon, England. The fort is situated on the South Western slope of a promontory on the Eastern side of a hill west of the Village of Hillhead some 65-80 Metres above Sea Level overlooking Noss Point in the Dart Estuary.

Brixham Battery and Battery Gardens are an open space on the sea shore in Brixham, Devon at grid reference SX920569. They are a traditional observation point for Brixham trawler races, both past and present. The 14-acre site of Battery Gardens was first used as a battery in 1586 during the war between England and Spain.
Torbay Lifeboat Station
Torbay Lifeboat Station is the base for Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) search and rescue operations at Brixham, Devon in England. Brixham Lifeboat Station was opened in 1866 but since 1924 it has been known as 'Torbay'. Since 2005 it has operated a Severn-class all weather lifeboat (ALB) and an D-class (IB1) (IB1) inshore lifeboat (ILB).
Festival Theatre, Paignton
The Festival Theatre was a theatre in Paignton, Devon, England. Opened in 1967, the Fesitval Theatre was a seafront theatre located on the Paignton Esplanade, capable of staging large summer shows. It was in direct competition with the Princess and Pavilion theatres in Torquay. The Festival Theatre closed at the end of 1998. The building re-opened in October 1999 as a multiscreen cinema, known as the Apollo.
