Launde

Launde is a civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, bordering Rutland. The parish is the site of Launde Abbey. It gives its name to an electoral division of Leicestershire that stretches all the way from Scraptoft, Thurnby and Stoughton, near Leicester, to the border with Rutland. Launde Park lies in the valley of the River Chater. The Elizabethan house embodies the relics of the old priory and is an E-shaped building of two storeys.

East Norton railway station was a railway station serving the village of East Norton, Leicestershire. The station was half a mile east of the village on the north side of the Uppingham to Leicester road, now the A47. on the Great Northern and London and North Western Joint Railway. Loddington

Loddington is a small village and civil parish north of Market Harborough and east of Leicester in the county of Leicestershire. It has a population of 77. In 1125, the village was granted to Launde Priory by Richard Basset and his wife, as part of the original endowment of the priory. Stockerston Hall

Stockerston Hall is a late-18th-century English country house in Leicestershire, near the town of Uppingham, Rutland. It is a Grade II listed building. The Manor of Stockerston was owned by the Boyville family in the 15th century and passed by marriage to Sothill and then to Drury. It was sold by Henry Drury in 1580 to John Burton of Braunston, whose son was the first of the Burton baronets of Stockerston.
