Rockingham Castle is a former royal castle and hunting lodge in Rockingham Forest a mile to the north of Corby, Northamptonshire.
Eye Brook
The Eye Brook is a river in the East Midlands of England, a tributary of the River Welland. It is around 10 miles long. Rising near Tilton on the Hill or Skeffington in Leicestershire, it flows east. Near where it crosses the A47, it starts to form the county boundary between Leicestershire and Rutland, and goes between Belton-in-Rutland to the north, and Allexton to the south. It then proceeds south-eastwards. Between Stoke Dry and Caldecott it is dammed to form the Eyebrook Reservoir.

Eyebrook Reservoir (also Eye Brook Reservoir) is a reservoir in the East Midlands of England. It straddles the border of Leicestershire (to the west) and Rutland (to the east). It is located about 6 km northwest of Corby in Northamptonshire. Nearby villages are Stoke Dry to the north, and Caldecott to the south and near the dam. The reservoir was formed by the damming of the Eye Brook.

Rockingham railway station
Rockingham railway station was a station just south of Caldecott, Rutland. The station was actually over the county line into Leicestershire, and was named after the village of Rockingham, Northamptonshire, which although one mile distant and smaller than Caldecott was thought to be more important because it is the location of Rockingham Castle.
Stockerston Hall
Stockerston Hall is a late-18th-century English country house in Leicestershire, near the town of Uppingham, Rutland. It is a Grade II listed building. The Manor of Stockerston was owned by the Boyville family in the 15th century and passed by marriage to Sothill and then to Drury. It was sold by Henry Drury in 1580 to John Burton of Braunston, whose son was the first of the Burton baronets of Stockerston.
