Wembury Marine Centre
Wembury Marine Centre is situated in the small village of Wembury, near Plymouth. Run by Devon Wildlife Trust, it holds rockpool rambles throughout the summer months, educating some 20,000 people each year about the importance of marine life and the need to protect it. The area is designated a Special Area of Conservation and a Voluntary Marine Conservation Area.
Noss Mayo
Noss Mayo is a village in south-west Devon, England, about 6 miles south-east of Plymouth. It lies about a mile inland, on the southern bank of Newton Creek, an arm of the estuary of the River Yealm. On the opposite, northern bank of the creek is Newton Ferrers, a slightly larger settlement. The two villages are said to be among the most attractive and un-spoilt villages in Devon. The population was 510 in 1991. The first documentary reference of Noss Mayo was in 1286 as Nesse Matheu.

HMS Cambridge (1956)
HMS Cambridge was a Royal Navy shore establishment south of Plymouth UK, commissioned between 1956 to 2001. Formerly named HM Gunnery School, Devonport, then Cambridge Gunnery School at Wembury. The site was called HMS Cambridge after a ship of the same name an 80-gun third-rate ship of the line that was used to train seamen in gunnery in Plymouth harbour from 1856.
Casa del Rio
Casa del Rio ("House on the River") is an Art Deco house built in 1936 to a Spanish theme, on the banks of the river Yealm at Newton Ferrers, South Hams, Devon, England. The house was commissioned by baker Walter Price, who had visited California in the 1920s, to research the bread trade there, and had met Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford at their house, Pickfair, which served as Price's inspiration.
